At first, Wenren È's intentions are simple and twofold:
Study the plot of this odd novel to help him lead the Xuanyuan Sect.
Avert the illogical outcomes of the novel at large and of Baili Qingmiao specifically.
Wenren È notices how many of the novel's narrative threads lead back to his most trusted subordinate. As such, it only makes sense for him to turn his inquisitive eye towards Protector Yin Haijiang. This proves to be a most interesting decision, as he begins to note details that, in truth, Wenren È does not know how he missed before.
The way his hair is always so neatly tied back.
The way his eyebrows furrow as he considers certain matters.
The way his eyes hold this dark razor-sharp glint as he cuts someone down.
The way a corner of his lip upturns ever so slightly when he is satisfied with something.
Wenren È wonders what other faces he holds.
After reading Abusive Romance once more, Wenren È decides to pay closer attention to Protector Yin Hanjiang.
