At Calypso's school, she was welcoming her students as their parents were dropping them there. It was then that her attention went to a certain pup that was new to her class. He was an Akita with a ginger fur conjugated with white on the ventral areas, approaching with his mum while holding hands to her. He was wearing a shoulder bag, holding the strap around his torso tightly.
"Hello there" Calypso said to him. "You must be Hiro. My name is Calypso."
Calypso extended her hand to greet him, but Hiro simply seemed to ignore her, just looking around, never to her.
"Sorry, I forgot…" Calypso said, opting then for a small bow.
Despite taking a few seconds, Hiro eventually replied with a bow as well.
"I know this is a great change for you, but I'll make sure you're as comfortable as possible" Calypso told, turning then to Hiro's mother. "I'll take care of him."
"Arigato, Calypso" she replied. "I've heard wonderful things about you and I know Hiro will be fine here."
She then turned to Hiro, kneeling before him, and said:
"Hiro, sweetie, mommy needs to go. But don't worry, I'll get back later."
Hiro, hearing that, grabbed tightly his mum's arm, always while looking to the ground, but she reassured him:
"Sweetie, we talked about this. Mommy needs to go work. But I'll be back in a few hours."
She then extended her open hand to him, asking:
"Can you be strong for me?"
It took a few seconds, but Hiro then extended his hand and intertwined his fingers on hers, with both closing them.
"Good boy…" Hiro's mum said. "Jya ne, Hiro."
With that, she went away. Approaching Hiro, Calypso said:
"Why don't you come with me inside. I have something special for you to do."
Taking Hiro inside, Calypso said, while they arrived to the cloakroom:
"This is where you can hang your bag or hat. I reserved a special place for you to put your bag, if you want."
But Hiro just hold his bag tighter and Calypso replied:
"Or not. You can keep it, if you want. Let's move on."
As they approached a table, Calypso said:
"So, I heard you like to draw and that's what you used to do when you arrived on your old school. I've prepared some papers and crayons so you can draw something. Is that okay?"
Without saying anything or looking to Calypso, Hiro just sit on the chair, took a blue crayon and started drawing.
"Okay, then, if you need anything, I'll be over there, welcoming the others."
Despite Hiro didn't reply to her, Calypso knew he had listened to her and so she headed back to the entrance of the school, in time of seeing Bluey arriving with her mum.
"Bye, mum" she said, while hugging her mother.
"Bye, Bluey" Chilli replied, hugging Bluey back.
She then moved away, with her and Bluey waving at each other. After that, Bluey hasted to the entrance of the school, while giggling.
"Hi, Calypso!" she said.
"Hi, Bluey" she replied, as the young Heeler pup got inside.
Bluey hanged her backpack on the cloakroom and then looked around, trying to decide what to do. It was then that she noticed Hiro and, not recognizing him, she realized he should be a new student. Approaching him, she told him:
"Hi, my name is Bluey. What's yours?"
But Hiro didn't reply to her, keeping to draw. Bluey became confused when she didn't get any answer.
"Ah, didn't you listen? I'm asking your name."
But the young Akita remained without saying anything else. Bluey got a bit upset by that, but, thinking he could be just shy, opted for another approach and tried to see what he was doing.
"Nice draw" she said, while looking. "What is that?"
Just like before, Hiro continue to say nothing. When he stopped drawing, Bluey thought for a moment he would address to her, but the only thing he did was fold the drawing he just did, put it in his bag and the take another paper to make another one.
Feeling frustrated for being ignored, Bluey just exclaimed with a louder voice:
"Why are you ignoring me!"
But, as soon she said that, Hiro immediately covered his ears with his hands and start moaning in pain, while oscillating himself back and forward.
"Loud!" he exclaimed. "Loud!"
That really scared Bluey who called:
"Calypso!"
Bluey: THIS EPISODE OF BLUEY IS CALLED: "SAFARI"
Calypso arrived there and asked:
"What happened?"
"I don't know" Bluey said. "He just started doing that."
"Noise!" Hiro kept saying. "Noise!"
"Oh, Hiro…" Calypso said, while approaching. "It's okay… Everything will be okay."
"I didn't do anything to him" Bluey said.
"I believe you, Bluey" Calypso told her. "Can you do me a favor and stay here? I'll take Hiro to a quieter place."
"But I didn't do anything!" Bluey protested.
"I know that, and you're not in trouble" Calypso said, while helping Hiro getting up. "But I need to talk with you, okay?"
Despite not understanding what was going on, Bluey said, while looking down:
"Okay…"
And Calypso moved away with Hiro, while Bluey just sit on the chair, sad and tearing up.
