Wilhelm's brother was diagnosed with leukemia half a year ago. Simon's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago. They don't know each other, but after receiving some negative news about his brother's cancer, Wilhelm finds himself crying into Simon's shoulder on the floor in a hospital bathroom. Simon, it turns out, is part of a group of friends and relatives of people with cancer and after a hug and an offer to join the group, Wilhelm decides to give it a shot in the hopes of feeling a bit less alone.
