Just a bunch of stories of an age-regressed CatNap

(Age regression is a coping mechanism, not a kink. It’s even recommended by psychologists. While some people regress involuntary or voluntarily, catnap does both.)

Chapter Text

It wasn’t often that DogDay slept over at Catnap’s house, the feline often choosing to invite himself into the canine’s home and then leave when he wanted to. And as much as DogDay ‘loved’ whenCatnap overstayed his welcome, he loved seeing his friend’s houses even more! So that’s why, rather than sleeping, the yellow-orange dog chose to look around at all the fancy decor.

Catnap, much to Dogday’s surprise, liked to live life fancy, bougie even! Many of his belongings shimmered and glittered, the most noticeable being a full-body mirror covered top to bottom in beautiful gems. Even with his expensive tastes, Catnap’s house was still very… ‘cozy’. Big, but certainly used. There were books, yarn balls, pillows, blankets, and several piles of plushies all over the house. DogDay didn’t mind though. It was Catnap’s house after all, and it made sleeping on the floor a lot more enjoyable.

It was nice; laying on the floor and looking at all the trinkets and doodads, the only light being the illumination of the tv. DogDay sighed, mind going from bedazzled mirrors, to chandeliers, to how incredibly soft Catnap’s pillows were. And as DogDay closed his eyes…

He heard a loud thud!

On high alert, DogDay tiptoed to where the noise was. Once at the kitchen, where the thud had come from, DogDay paused. There could be anything in the kitchen. A monster! A thief! Or his worst fear, a vaccum! DogDay’s hand was shaky, as he flicked on the light, revealing…

Catnap.

Covered in flour and standing next to an open cabinet.

Oh.

DogDay let out a sigh of relief, laughing a little as he took in the scene before him. Here he was expecting the worst, and it was just his boyfriend. Covered in flour and just as confused as DogDay was cheerful. “Catnap! You scared me half to death!” He laughed a little, walking into the kitchen and pulling the cat into a hug. Catnap chirped, returning the hug. After a while, the two pulled away and DogDay began to speak. “What happened? I know you like to use powder for your makeup but…” DogDay tries, and fails, to hide a snort, “I don’t think ‘Flour Power’ is your shade!” The dog continues to giggle, Catnap’s attempts to look menacing only intensifying DogDay’s laughs.

After a minute of DogDay’s insufferably bad wordplay, Catnap mutters something. DogDay tilts his head. “Got tiny… wanted cookies…” He whispered a little louder, and DogDay smiled. That made sense. Catnap got a lot clumsier when he was regressed, or as he puts it, ‘tiny’.

”How about this,” DogDay began, tone much more parental. “You go take a bath, and I’ll make you some cookies. Deal?” Catnap’s eyes lit up, nodding eagerly before racing upstairs. DogDay smiled, shaking his head fondly. Turning to the fridge, the dog took a deep breath and a slow exhale, before opening the fridge and taking out some cookie dough. As much as he would have liked to make the cookies from scratch, measurements and numbers were more Bubba and Catnap’s sort of thing, and DogDay didn’t trust himself to not screw up the recipe.
