“Morning,” Freddy breathed as Bonnie stirred awake, rolling into his husband’s arms to face him. Bonnie mumbled an incoherent response, nuzzling his face into the crook of Freddy’s neck while wrapping an arm around his waist. Freddy snorted, kissing the top of his head as he began to trace circles into Bonnie’s spine.
“You’re gonna put me back to sleep,” Bonnie protested, voice thick with sleep. Freddy shrugged.
“Maybe that’s the idea. I’m supposed to be keeping you awake tonight since last night I didn’t get the chance,” Freddy teased, keeping his voice low. The sun wasn’t even up yet, and Bonnie couldn’t be bothered to turn his head to see the alarm clock.
“I didn’t forget,” Bonnie lazily kissed his neck, smirking as Freddy swallowed quickly in response. “Huh, who knew you were so easy to work up.”
“Shuddup,” Freddy grumbled, no heat behind it at all as he pried Bonnie’s face away from his throat to press kisses to his lips. Bonnie smiled into every one, wedging his knee between Freddy’s thighs and pressing closer. “Did you have a good birthday?” Freddy asked, rubbing their noses when he broke away.
“Mhm,” Bonnie yawned, stealing another peck. Freddy and Gregory had taken him on ‘an adventure’ as his eight year old put it, playing in the snow before going to the arcade with their friends. Chica had so sweetly asked if Gregory would be her valentine, giving Bonnie a sly wink as she did. Forever adoring his ‘auntie’, Gregory had immediately said yes before promptly begging for a sleepover.
Bonnie had agreed without even thinking about it; he didn’t deny Gregory much of anything as long as his requests were reasonable, and he was so adorably excited that Bonnie wouldn’t have said no even if he wanted to. He hadn’t expected to be pressed against the side of the car when they’d gotten home, Freddy capturing him in a heated kiss before asking him to be his . Bonnie had giggled over the fact that Freddy even asked – but he’d whispered his agreement before nudging Freddy to get their sleeping child out of the car.
Freddy pulled him from his thoughts by dragging him into another series of kisses, these ones more heated and sloppy than the innocent ones he’d received moments before. Holding back a moan, Bonnie kissed him back, hands twisting in the fabric of Freddy’s t-shirt. Freddy’s fingers slid beneath the waistband of his boxers, a snicker quickly muffled by Bonnie’s lips as he shoved his husband onto his back.
Bonnie had rules– they didn’t have sex when Gregory was home, but sometimes Bonnie couldn’t resist the urge to toe the line and makeout with his gorgeous rockstar of a husband. Freddy seemed to be on board, yanking Bonnie on top of him. Bonnie’s giggle turned into a whimper, his hips rocking forward as Freddy began to grind against him. There was only the sound of their heavy breathing, kissing, and–
Footsteps on the stairs.
“Shit-” Bonnie rasped, barely rolling off Freddy in time before the bedroom door pushed open. Gregory stood in the doorway, blearily rubbing his eyes as he looked at his parents. “Greg? You good?” Freddy had turned his face away, likely to try and hide his laughter that shook the bed.
“Mhm,” Gregory yawned, fumbling his way across the room to clamber up onto the bed with them. “Wan’ cuddle.”
“You want cuddles?” Bonnie immediately softened, opening his arms. The day his little boy stopped wanting cuddles was the day Bonnie might explode. “C’mere, little love.” Gregory instantly flopped into Bonnie’s embrace, closing his eyes as Freddy helped Bonnie maneuver him under the blankets. Gregory was sound asleep again in a matter of seconds, face smooshed right against Bonnie’s shoulder. “Well, so much for that…” Bonnie whispered, looking over at his husband with a sheepish grin.
“It’s okay,” Freddy murmured, smoothing Gregory’s flyaway curls back from his face. “I’d never deny you your cuddles.” Love swelled in Bonnie’s chest as he curled up to him as best as he could, closing his eyes with a content smile when one of Freddy’s arms draped over them both.
“I know. I love you, superstar.”
“And I love you, sunshine. Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Warm and happy beyond anything he’d ever imagined just three years prior, Bonnie went back to sleep in Freddy’s embrace.
