Two idiots and two victims of their idiotitism

Summary:

Cheong-San and Suhyeok are in love with each other. That much is obvious.

Well it seems like it's not so obvious to them.

This is Gwinam and Joon Yeong watching these two idiots and their way of helping.

Joon Yeong with words of advice.
Gwinam with a strong shove.

Notes:

This has been in my head for months so I decided to finally write it.

I'm sorry in advance for any mistakes I might have made since english isn't my first language and this is also only my second fanfiction ever so my writing skills probably still need to improve a lot.

Hope you enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Gwinam is lowkey a shipper

Chapter Text

Yoon Gwinam was a lot. A bully, kinda stupid, hot (at least in his completely objective opinion) and let’s be honest he was a complete asshole (even he was aware of it but if asked he would probably deny it). Gwinam was NOT a homophobe.

Maybe he would have been if it wasn’t for his sister. His kind, funny, dumb, older sister Sun-Hi who would always treat him like a servant and made him buy her food but then sneak money in his wallet like he wouldn’t notice anyway.

Gwinam really had no idea how his sister could have the personality she had with parents like theirs. If it wasn’t for Sun-Hi he probably would have had to grow up alone in a trashy apartment that smelled horribly like alcohol and cigarettes. But he didn’t because his sister always protected him.

She was basically the one that raised him. She cooked and she cleaned. She jobbed so he wouldn’t have to ask his parents for money and risk getting hit. She took care of him when he was sick. She taught him manners and morals. She made sure he goes to school and does his homework. She celebrated his birthday with him.

And then she killed herself in spring a few years ago. He always wondered how she could be so happy and positive all the time. The realization that she just hid all her problems from him came too late.

After her funeral he was devastated. What do you do when your only support is gone? Sun-Hi was the only one he thought he could always depend on. So he spiraled. He stopped caring for school. At first he didn’t raise his hand in class anymore, then he stopped paying attention and just slept most of the time. His friends stopped hanging out with him but he couldn’t bring himself to care.

On his 14th birthday he was completely alone. How could Sun-Hi do this to him? She didn’t even leave a letter or note explaining why she did what she did. This was also the day he started smoking. He stole the cigarettes from his parents. If they noticed they didn’t say anything. Maybe they just weren’t interested enough in him to care if his life went even more to shit or not. It was kind of ironic since his sister had always complained about the ‘stupid smoking’ and made him promise he would never even try. But she wasn’t here to stop him anymore.

Some typically bully with rich parents in his class saw him smoking behind school once and offered him a place in his friend group. Gwinam accepted since there wasn’t really anything better to do anyway. At least he would feel less like he was the only person in the whole world. And that’s how he became a gofer.

A few months before he turned 15 he heard his parents saying that they wanted to clean out Sun-Hi’s old room. He fought a lot with them until they allowed him to be the one that did it instead of them just throwing everything out.

Being in his sister's room was hard. Before that day he had never been able to bring himself to change anything about it except from cleaning it occasionally. It almost felt like she never left.

Gwinam went through all her clothes and things. He decided what to keep, what to throw and what to give away. He made piles and stuffed things in boxes. He cried.

While going through the last drawer of Sun-Hi’s desk he found a notebook.

More precisely it was a diary.

He knew it was wrong of him but when he saw that it was written in the year before her death Gwinam couldn’t stop himself from reading it. If there was a way he would ever have his questions answered it was this one.

He learned a lot about his sister that day.

All the exhaustion she went through because of working while going to school at the same time. How frustrating it was to always argue with her parents. The fact that she had to raise a child even though she was still one herself.

The most shocking thing he found out was that Sun-Hi was bisexual and seemed to have had a girlfriend. Gwinam read pages upon pages about his sister going on and on about her beautiful girlfriend Haneul.

He realized how much there was he actually didn’t know about Sun-Hi. It hurt a lot.

At first her days were described as sometimes hard, but overall happy. Sun-Hi made the same bad jokes while writing as she did in person. It made him chuckle but he also almost wanted to cry even more.

She talked about her wanting to introduce him to her girlfriend soon. Sun-Hi was sure they would get along great. From what Gwinam could figure out about Haneul, he would’ve liked her a lot.

His sister had dreams. The moment she was of age she wanted to move out and take Gwinam with her. She wanted to become a nurse to help people and rescue her girlfriend from her family. They were rich but deeply homophobic and were planning to marry her off to their advantage as if they still lived way back in the past.

Still, she was optimistic and seemed truly content with her life.

That was until she was outed.

One of her classmates had seen her and Haneul kissing on one of their dates and promptly told the whole school they were in.

The closer the dates of her entries got to her death, the more she seemed to mention her and her girlfriend being bullied and shamed for their sexuality. Gwinam was disgusted. With the people that did this to his sister but also himself for making people go through the same things his sister had to.

When there was only one entry left, the day she killed herself, he had a strong urge to just pack away the diary and never open it again. Normally Sun-Hi wrote at least a few lines every day, but this last note was dated three days after the last one. He didn’t want to know what happened exactly since he knew he couldn’t change the outcome anymore anyway.

At the same time he knew he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he didn’t know the ending. So he picked up the book again.

Dear Diary,

I’m not completely sure why I am still writing this. It’s not like anyone is going to see this. Maybe it’s to finally being able to complete my story.

A lot has happened in the last few days.

Haneul’s dad saw us. He screamed at me for turning his daughter into something ‘disgusting’ and said I was the child of the devil. Maybe he is right. My parents certainly weren’t angels.

He kicked me out of the house and I can’t reach Haneul over text. She isn’t picking up my calls either. I went to her house but it was completely empty. I think her Haneul’s parents might have moved her away from me. I don’t know what to do. I feel like I don’t have anyone left except Gwinam but he is still too young. I can’t burden him with my problems.

This will be my last entry.

I can’t do this anymore. I love my brother. I love Haneul. But I feel like it’s not worth it. Every day feels like an eternity and the only thing I want to do is curl up in my bed.

I feel guilty to leave my brother alone but he is strong. I know I could only teach him how to survive but I hope he will learn how to live. I never did.

I hope I can meet Gwinam and Haneul again in my next life. Maybe we can be happy together this time.

Love Sun-Hi

Living was hard after that. But Gwinam knew he couldn’t give up. He would live his life to the fullest and then tell his sister everything and make her proud when he met her again. He didn’t know when and where it would happen. In heaven, hell or their next life but he knew it would.

He tried looking for Haneul but quickly gave up his search when there weren’t any signs. On the first day of 10th grade, which was also his first day of High School, he met Lee Suhyeok.

He was an idiot.

He was probably only that tall because someone pumped a little bit of extra air into him. That air then only gathered inside his head and made him the literal definition of stupid.

Well maybe Gwinam was exaggerating a bit.

It didn’t matter that Suhyeok wasn’t the smartest when it came to academics. The problem was that he didn’t seem to realize (until it was too late), that he was hanging with the wrong crowd.

Suhyeok was the first real friend he made in years. He made dumb jokes but they weren’t mean or offensive like the ones of the other bullies. He was really good at sports and Gwinam knew that Suhyeok was good looking, or handsome if you want. He was kind. Too kind to be a bully.

When Suhyeok left their group a few weeks after summer break of the first year in High School, Gwinam didn’t hold it against him. Suhyeok did what he was too much of a coward to do.

It meant that Gwinam was alone again but he was already used to it.

Sometimes he watched Suhyeok. He didn’t exactly look for him but if he came into his view it was a little hard to look away. He wouldn’t admit it but he still cared for him which was weird considering he only ever did for his sister and he only knew Suhyeok for a few months.

He looked better without the bruises from fights they got into and his smile seemed realer and brighter. He was friends with a group of boys from another class now.

There was especially that one kid whose parents owned a chicken restaurant (he once heard him and his friends talking about it really loudly) he always clinged to. Gwinam could figure out that his name was Lee Cheong-San.

At first he thought they were just really good friends but the more he saw them together, the closer they seemed to get. By the time they all became 11th graders and Gwinam turned 17 he figured out that they were probably completely in love with each other.

Which brings us back to the reason why Gwinam was even thinking about the fact that he was not homophobic.

Seeing Cheong-San and Suhyeok together was painful. But not because they were both guys but because Gwinam could easily tell there was more than friendship between them. And if he could, then it wasn’t long before others would figure it out too, which was risky since even though he didn’t mind them, South Korea was still a pretty homophobic country sometimes. It was frustrating but it’s not like Gwinam could do anything to stop that. They weren’t doing anything wrong and they still couldn’t be honest.

Of course he could just talk to Suhyeok again and give him some advice on which places in school had less people there but he felt like he would bind Suhyeok to his past if he talked to him and that wasn’t fair after he could finally free himself from it. So Gwinam just kept watching.

It got to a point where doing this, like preventing people from walking in on them staring lovingly into each other's eyes, became part of his daily routine.

One day when he was just spending his lunch break on the roof of the school because he didn’t have the nerve to deal with the group of bullies following Son Myeong-hwan right now, he saw Suhyeok immediately followed by Cheong-San enter the roof.

The two of them stood next to the door in front of each other. They seemed tense and uncomfortable.

Gwinam knew he should leave and mind his own business but they didn’t seem to have noticed he was there and kind of blocked his only exit.

Just when he was about to make his presence, which was hidden by the random tables and other types of furniture that was lying around, known, Suhyeok started talking and now it was too awkward to interrupt them.

Maybe a part of this was also just Gwinam making excuses because he was way too curious and invested in their drama and really wanted to know where this conversation would go, but no one needed to know that except him.

“Cheong-San? Why have you been avoiding me?”, started the taller one of the couple.

“What? I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am not avoiding you.”

“Yes you are”

“I’m not”

“You are”

“I’m not”

“You ar- no! Stop distracting me Cheong-San!”

“Well then stop trying to talk to me about this.”

“How can I do that when the whole time we’ve been here you haven't even been able to look me in the eye.”

Now this was really getting interesting. Gwinam felt like he was 12 again, watching some stupid TV show with his sister. The only thing missing was Popcorn (and his sister but that really wasn’t something he wanted to think about right now).

“Can you just-”, Cheong-San sighed loudly and then finally looked up at Suhyeok, “Please believe me when I say this has nothing to do with something you did or said. This is my own problem and you can’t do anything to fix it except letting me be for a bit, alright? I already know what the solution is and that involves me not spending that much time with you anymore but it is not your fault. Just-”

“Shut up”, Suhyeok suddenly interrupted his ranting. “Cheong-San, Sannie, I have no idea what you’re even talking about. What could possibly be going on, that the only solution is you ignoring me when I try to talk to you and pushing me away. For god’s sake you wouldn’t even pass me the ball at soccer practice. This is driving me insane. So could you please just tell me what happened?!”

“Hyeok, seriously? Why are you persisting on this so much when I already told you everything is fine and I don’t want to talk about it. Listen to me-”

“No you listen to me-”

Damn, Gwinam thought, there are only stupid people in this world.

He really didn’t want to continue to listen to their conversation turned shouting match that obviously wasn’t going anywhere. Should he stop them? Because if they were any louder the other students were going to hear them and that would be the gossip of the week since Suhyeok and Cheong-san normally always looked like they had the perfect friendship.

“-er, is that what this is about?”, Suhyeok said, sounding hurt.

Gwinam hadn’t been paying attention, too lost in his thoughts, so he had no clue what was going on right now.

“Why would you even think that? Onjo has nothing to do with this and I already told you I see her as a sister and nothing more!”

“You always say that, but then you-”

Suhyeok got interrupted by Gwinam coughing loudly.

Immediately the couple started looking in his direction. Gwinam, who had been in a crouching position, awkwardly stood up and just stared at them.

There was silence on the rooftop for a while and you could only hear shouting from the students on the field enjoying their break.

“Why are you here?”, Cheong-San said the same time Suhyeok said “Gwinam?”.

How the fuck am I gonna get out of this one?

“I think instead of talking about me, why don’t we try to solve your conflict first?”

Great idea Gwinam, just interfere with things that really aren’t your buisness and start playing the therapist.

“Why should we talk to you-”, Cheong-San started but he didn’t get far before he got interrupted once again by Suhyeok.

“Well I would like to solve this but I can’t because someone here won’t talk to me so I don’t even know why we are fighting!”

“Really? You’re going to start with this again?!”

“What else am I supposed to do-”

“I’m sorry”, Cheong-San’s and Suhyeok’s heads ripped around to him the moment he started talking, he was so gonna regret this, “but would you mind when I just, i don’t know, walked past you really quick? And then you can carry on with your lovers quarrel and just pretend I was never here.”

“I’m not gonna let you walk away when you didn’t tell us yet why you were listening in on us- Wait did you just say lovers quarrel?”, Cheong-San asked him with bewildered confusion.

“Yes. Because that’s what it is and I really think that is something between you two that shouldn’t involve me in any way so if you would just scooch over a little bit then-”

“We are not a couple”, Cheong-San stated firmly even though Gwinam could swear his ears had turned red.

“Don’t worry I’m not homophobic, I don’t have problem with the two of you.”

“That is nice I guess but still, we’re not a couple.”

Gwinam looked at Suhyeok and saw that he looked like he actually meant it so he looked at Cheong-San and then back at Suhyeok.

“So you are trying to tell me, you two”, he pointed with his fingers at them, “are not a couple?”

“Yes, exactly”

“You don’t go on dates and kiss and shit?”

“No, and i don’t know why you would even think that”, Cheong-San was full on blushing now.

“Wait, I’m sorry, I think there is something wrong with my ears right now but did you just tell me you aren’t a couple? In a relationship? Lovers? An item?”

YES, Gwinam seriously why are you insisting on this so much?” Suhyeok asked confused but also flustered.

Months. Months wasted. For months I've been tricked and helped these godforsaken idiots for what? Nothing. Because they aren’t a couple.

“Suhyeok would you mind if you hit me in the head but like really hard cause I kinda wanna pass out right now.”

“You are acting really weird Gwinam, should we take you to the infirmary?”

“You’re really gonna help a bully?”, Cheong-San spat at Suhyeok annoyed.

“Remember I was a bully once too? And Gwinam was my friend at least at one point.”

“Stop!” the coup- no not couple, the pair of absolute morons looked back at him, “You two really need to stop fighting. I’m only gonna say this once so you better listen to me. You”, he pressed his finger into Suhyeok’s chest, “have a huge crush on Cheong-San here and you” he moved his finger to the other, “like him too. So I would really appreciate it if you could stop fighting over meaningless things and just fucking get together already.”, he panted out the last bit and then promptly pushed Suhyeok into Cheong-San and left the roof.

On the other side of the door he found a weirdly familiar guy with glasses hovering and listening in on them.

Before he could say anything the door closed behind him and the guy pulled him down next to him.

“Who the actual fuck are yo-”

“I’m Oh Joon Yeong and now shut up.”

Chapter 2: Joon Yeong, a mastermind with a plan

Notes:

Hello internet,

i'm finally updating this! (only took me 5 months)

I did not proof read this so sorry if i left any plot holes or language mistakes.

Hope you enjoy!

Chapter Text

A lot of movies and shows have a main friend group. One of them is always “the smart one”. The character that has the best grades and always knows everything. The one that wears glasses, doesn’t care about clothes and is bad at sport. They're typically more of the silent type, don’t take part in the fun or adventures and are smart with maths, not with feelings.

Oh Joon Yeong probably fit that character pretty perfectly.

There were only two of these traits that he didn’t fit. For one, he did in fact not have the best grades. He was only second place of the school, right after Choi Nam Ra, but since that wasn’t something he was currently comfortable thinking about let’s just move on to the second abnormality.

Joon Yeong may be good at math but he was good at feelings too.

So when he met Lee Suhyeok for the first time, introduced by a very excited Cheong-San, he knew .

He could see the way they looked at each other. The way their bodies seemed to be automatically drawn to each other. They clicked in a way he couldn’t possibly understand.

Gyeong Su and Cheong San sometimes seemed like they could end each other's sentences, they were best friends after all, but Cheong San and Bare Su (like they had lovingly taken to calling him) were just different . They were more than friends.

Joon Yeong was glad his friends could have something like that and he let them be. They were old enough to figure out their feelings themselves.

❍❍❍❍❍❍❍

It was late August, a few weeks after summer break of their second year of High School and Joon Yeong was going to go crazy

Suhyeok was a solid part of their group for a year now and he had been sure that they would be in a happy, established relationship by now but they weren’t.

It was driving him up the walls.

He was smart, smarter than most and smart enough to hopefully go to Seoul National University after graduation but he couldn’t comprehend what was wrong with his two friends.

Hell, even Yoon Gwinam of all people seemed to notice what was going on between them.

Joon Yeong had seen him looking their way with a fond smile and even secretly helping them out several times.

Cheong-San and Bare Su were in love and it was painfully obvious to everyone but them and he knew it wasn’t really his place but enough is enough . If he had to witness Suhyeok being jealous over Onjo or Cheong San practically drooling over Suhyeok playing any type of sport one more time, he would seriously consider jumping off a roof.

He had to do something, anything at this point, and he had to do it soon .

At first he considered asking Gwinam for help but he quickly scratched that idea. They had never even talked with each other before and he didn’t want to risk being the next victim of his group of bullies.

So doing it alone and discreetly was his final decision.

  1. Talk to them separately to make them aware that you know about their feelings and are always there for support.
  2. Make them feel sure that their feelings are reciprocated.
  3. Force  Convince them to confess.

A nice and simple 3-step-plan. That shouldn’t be too hard, right? He had to succeed. For his own sanity.

❍❍❍❍❍❍❍

He decided to start with Cheong-San since he knew him longer. Joon Yeong was just going to call him (because forcing someone to talk about their feelings during a school day and where someone could see them felt wrong) and have a nice conversation and then subtly steer it towards the topic of Bare Su.

Of course he didn’t expect Suhyeok himself to ruin everything.

Joon Yeong video called (to show his sincerity more thoroughly) Cheong-San at half ten on a saturday morning (he knew Cheong-San was usually up at this time because he had to help his parents with their restaurant) and as predicted picked up the phone after two rings.

But instead of seeing him dressed and sitting on his couch, waiting for his mom to get ready, the first thing Joon Yeong saw when the call connected, was Cheong-San still lying in his bed, his hair disheveled with a sleeping Suhyeok on his shoulder.

“What is this?” groned Cheong-San as a greeting.

“Good Morning to you too. I’m doing fine thanks for asking. Can’t you be nice to your friend even if I am not Bare Su? Why is he drooling on you anyway?”

“Just so you know, you woke me up with this call so don’t expect me to be all sprinkles and rainbows.”

“It’s not like you are ever all ‘sprinkles and rainbows’, let’s be honest you are probably the second grumpiest of our group. Right behind me.”

“Oh shut up, Hyeok stayed over at mine because we were playing video games but then it started raining and I didn’t want him to get sick so I asked him to just stay the night. We were too tired to take out the spare mattress so we both slept in my bed. Suhyeok must have accidentally moved in his sleep and that’s why he’s wrapped around me. By the way, you still haven’t told me why you called.”

Damn. It was honestly no wonder these idiots still weren’t a couple. Did Cheong-San always find excuses like this to explain their really non platonic actions? And poor Suhyeok (who was currently still out like a light but at least looked perfectly blissful) probably thought he had no chance because of this, the rumors about Cheong-San and Onjo only making it worse.

It looked like it was really up to him now.

Joon Yeong still considered talking to Cheong-San another time since Bare Su was literally on top of him right now but then decided to screw it. He couldn’t take their pining any longer.

“I wanted to talk about your romantic feelings for Suhyeok.”, he answered after a moment.

Cheong-San choked on air and looked at him like he was crazy.

“What? What are you talking about? Wha- What ‘romantic’ feelings? I don- I don’t even know why you would think that. Did you maybe eat something weird. HaHa.” Cheong-San kept stumbling out words while trying to avoid eye contact but also not move too much to not wake up Suhyeok.

“It’s ok San”, he was pulling out the big guns now, he only called him that in more vulnerable moments, “I don’t have anything against it. It’s the opposite actually. I would like to help you with confessing your feelings to Bare Su.”

Cheong-San flustered knowing his convincing attempts had failed. He looked away from the camera and turned his gaze to the boy on his shoulder.

“It doesn’t matter if you help me. Hyeok doesn’t like me like that.”, he said with a dejected tone.

This was gonna be harder than he thought but he was not gonna give up. He could see in the way Cheong-San looked at Suhyeok how much he cared for him. Joon Yeong saw how Suhyeok lived from making his “Sannie” laugh. These two meant everything for each other and he knew they could be even better if they were finally a couple.

“Believe me San, he does. I’ve been watching you too and-” but before he could start his speech he was interrupted because Suhyeok suddenly opened his eyes.

“Morning, Sannie”, he said with his still raspy voice while looking at Cheong-San with a soft smile on his lips.

This guy has not even noticed I’m here too because he can’t look away from his “friend”.

“Good morning to you too.”, Cheong-San answered with an equally soft demeanor.

The switch-up from how he acted with me to how he acts with Bare Su is crazy. Platonic my ass.

Joon Yeong cleared his throat obnoxiously loud.

“I don’t want to interrupt your morning any longer so I’m just going to hang up now, but we are going to talk about this again San.”, say what you want but he knew when his presence wasn’t wanted.

“Oh, you were on the phone? I didn’t even notice.”

Yeah, believe me I am aware of that.

“Doesn’t matter. See you at school.”, Joon Yeong said before he ended the call.

This did not go how I planned it but I’m still not gonna give up. Plan “Make idiots realize their idiots (for each other)” is still a go!

❍❍❍❍❍❍❍

Cheong-San was ignoring his calls.

This bastard really doesn’t want to talk about it, huh?

Well desperate times needed desperate measures.

Joon Yeong was aware that he originally intended to not corner Cheong-San in the middle of school for a reason but he was starting to get annoyed by all the drama so the idiot had kind of brought this about himself. (Let’s just ignore how Joon Yeong was kind of the one that started this whole mess to slowly get out of control.)

It was a few days into September, when he finally pulled Cheong-San into an empty classroom during break.

“I know what you’re trying to do but you can’t escape this conversation, San.”

Cheong-san groaned. “Why are you doing this to me? I already told you: There’s no way I have a chance with Hyeok.”

“Don’t be so dramatic. How do you know he’s not interested? Have you ever tried initiating something?”

“No”, he sighed sadly, “I think I would know if he had feelings for me. I’m honestly not even sure if he likes guys or not. Even if I knew he did , I wouldn’t do anything about it. I can not risk our friendship because he’s too important to me, so please please let it rest.”

He was right. Maybe it wasn’t Joon Yeong’s business. Maybe he should let them figure it out themselves.

“Perhaps it is time for me to really get over these feelings. I didn’t really try until now but you’re right, it can’t go on like this. Thanks Joon.”, Cheong-San said before Joon Yeong could answer him and left the room to presumably finally eat lunch. He suddenly felt the need to bash his head against a wall.

Somehow I have the feeling I just made everything worse.

❍❍❍❍❍❍❍

The teen’s way of getting over his “one-sided” feelings was apparently completely ignoring Suhyeok’s existence.

Joon Yeong probably found this funnier than he had any right to. It was after all in a way his fault that these two idiots were having problems.

However seeing Cheong-San struggle to find excuses to not hang out with Bare-Su while the taller was just trying to find out what he possibly could have done wrong was too entertaining.

“You look like a kicked puppy.”, said Woo Jin to Suhyeok one day when Cheong-San refused to sit next to him when they were playing video games.

Joon Yeong had contemplated having a private talk with Suhyeok like he had originally planned but at this point it seemed like nothing he could do or say would help them. It looked like they were going to have to fix this on their own.

❍❍❍❍❍❍❍

When the whole avoiding situation had been going on for almost two weeks and Joon Yeong was just about to simply lock them in a closet until they figured their shit out, he noticed Suhyeok dragging Cheong-San away in a similar way he had just two weeks ago. Instead of heading to a classroom they went to the rooftop.

Joon Yeong admits that following them and then crouching behind the door that was the only access to the roof to listen in on their conversation wasn’t his proudest moment but he was way too involved to still care about boundaries anyway. This was finally going to be the day everything came to a head and they would finally finally become a couple. He could feel it in his bones.

Maybe if this whole thing stops distracting me I'll be able to focus more on college entrance exam practice.

He soon realized that he overestimated his friends when they started shouting at each other instead of clearing up literally anything.

Joon Yeong was just about to interfere when he heard a loud cough.

“Why are you here?”, Cheong-San said the same time Suhyeok said “Gwinam?”.

Now this is getting more chaotic with every minute.

Joon Yeong heard Gwinam’s desperate attempts to get out of his uncomfortable position and barely suppressed a chuckle. When he then heard his tone of betrayal when the bully figured out that Suhyeok and Cheong-San weren’t even a couple like he apparently had assumed he actually almost lost it.

He had known that Gwinam was helping these two with preventing people from walking in on them but Joon Yeong had thought that he knew they weren’t actually dating.

Then suddenly Gwinam had a little outburst and literally yelled their feelings for each other in their faces.

That is definitely a way of approaching things I should have considered. When he had thought about asking Gwinam for help when he started his plan he maybe should have actually gone through with it. He certainly had more direct way that could have sped things up a lot.

Suddenly Gwinam opened the door. For the short moment he could see his friends he saw Suhyeok struggle to stay upright while also holding Cheong-San in his arms. Had Gwinam pushed him?

He quickly pulled the door closed so they wouldn’t see them and the moment wouldn’t be interrupted again. Then he pulled Gwinam down to crouch next to him.

“Who the actual fuck are yo-”

“I’m Oh Joon Yeong and now shut up.”

Notes:

I don't think that cuddling or sleeping in the same bed as your friends can't be platonic but staring at them like their the love of your life? That's gay.

You can btw thank xXx_HELIOPHOBIA_xXx for this update (i honestly forgot about this until i saw your comment, so thanks for the love, i really appreciate it since your work was the one that inspired me to make Gwinam a softy in this fic)

English still isn't my first language so feel free to correct my mistakes!

Have a nice day/night/whatever.

- while talking with Joon Yeong, gwinam figures out a few months later that the girlfriend of his sister he has been searching for was joon Yeong's cousin and he offers him a possibility of contacting her
- everyone is happy :)!

Author's note:

Hey! I'm really sorry (should anyone even read this) that i never finished this fic. Life just got in the way and then when I technically I had time again to continue writing this I had just lost my interest in this fandom and ship. It has been bugging me for months that I was just letting this be uncompleted though so I hope this is in some way than just letting the fic be abondened.

Have a nice day/night/whatever!

Notes:

I want to thank you if you have come this far.

Feel free to correct any mistakes I might have made.

Next chapter is Joon yeong POV and it will probably be posted somewhere between next week and next year.

Have a great day/night/whatever.
