Work Text:

Saiko has always been an observant person, maybe taking a too far of a step over the line. Through the stubborn and arrogant persona, he'd always make an effort to learn one's hobbies and interests.

Though, this time it wasn't about any of those, more about...appearance.

That may sound appalling for someone like Saiko Metori, he saw everyone below him as a peasant, appearance or personality, he didn't care, he was the superior. He was handsome, wealthy, and intelligent, what you would want, right? he'd hope it is.

The very person might even seem like his favorite...person to observe, yet he loathed him. This person was the complete opposite of who Saiko was. A poor plebe who likes to get his hands dirty, a downright street dog. But, there was a spark...to this street dog. A nasty spark that would ignite the fire.

He was a vain and absurd animal who shouldn't have been allowed to cumber the earth, at least, not on Saikos.

In his gut, of his own persistence of learning each and every one of Kuboyasu's interests would end up with him drowning in denial.

He did not like Kuboyasu. He always hated him.

Or, that's what he keeps telling himself.

The scowl on his face shows his frustration as he taps his fingers on his diamond cover desk. He was at school for the first time in his life, merely days after he discovered Kuboyasu's interesting little habits and...his appearance. His eyes focused on the male slightly across from his right, he was slouching in his seat. Not exactly how a normal person sit, with the mannerisms...and the way he spoke was a dead giveaway that he used to be a delinquent. Has Saiko always known this? why yes, there's nothing that he didn't know.

It might seem creepy, because it was, but Saiko would watch Kuboyasu from afar sometimes, especially when he's with his friends. There's just...something about watching someone's personality change with others. And with him? it was clear negativity. A melancholy feeling would usually occur in the back of his head if he thought about it, but nothing as stupid as that would get to his head!

Certainly not Kuboyasu...but...

The way the peasant talked intrigued him, not particularly his words but..his mouth..and..those abnormally sharp canines. He was like an animal. A tiger to be exact. The way he'd burst with fury, clawing at anybody who'd make him angry. His harshness made him flash his teeth, his canines. Just like a tiger. Would Kuboyasu rip out his flesh with them? Exactly how a tiger would...? Does he bite down exactly like a wild animal?

...Was he pondering of his own pet tiger, Hanako, at home? he didn't wanna admit it, but he was.

Did he think of Kuboyasu as a pet?

Could he tame this animal?

...

"Hey! What the hell are you lookin' at, rich boy!?"

Saiko flinches, realizing he was sinking too deep in thought. Now, he was the real creep here, staring at an unwashed plebe.

"None of your business, middle-part, you know, you should be doing your paperwork, isn't that what peasants do here? You and your pleb friend have been blabbering too much. It's disturbing my peace!"

Kuboyasu couldn't get anymore angrier as he bared and clenched his teeth. Saiko glanced at this, tilting his head to the side in amusement.

"Aren't YOU supposed to be doing work!? why are you even here in the first place, you arrogant BASTARD!"

The ex-punk got ready to initiate a fight as he jumped up from his chair, though, a blue-haired chunnibyo gently tugged him down. He reminded Kuboyasu that he should just ignore Saiko. 'He's just an asshole.'

"Right, sorry, but I'll need that obnoxious stuck-up brat to shut his damn trap!"

Saiko felt a bolt of annoyance through him, but he kept it simple...he kinda felt calm, in a way. He didn't feel like his usual stubborn self, he felt like experimenting. Toying with Kuboyasu attitude to get different reactions out of him...that is what he truly wants.

"Certainly, if that's what you want! but you'll never escape the truth, that i am better than you!"

Saiko laughs in a mocking manner, getting up and exiting the classroom before the punk could even respond clearly. He had his reaction, knowing recently that yes, he makes Kuboyasu mad on purpose. Only to see his reaction, that made him think of a wild animal.

It was late at night and the wealthy, presumably healthy, heir of the Saiko conglomerate was sitting in his golden throne. His eyes were fixated on the large cat beneath him, Hanako. Hanako was lying across the long, red but expensive carpet, tail whipping around. She opened her large mouth, revealing her dangerous canines, yawning in a cute way.

Would Kuboyasus yawn look the same way? (What was he thinking... he hated that inferior being, didn't he?)

Saiko smiled, on a rare occasion, it would be genuine, and this was one of them.

He loved Hanako, everyone and even himself thought he saw her as more of an exotic pet. And that wasn't exactly a lie.

A slender pale hand stroked the cat's beautiful white and orange coat. Her stripes were marvelous to him, even though the cat appeared to hate him. The eyes of Hanako stared in Saiko's. He looked into her slits, seeing Kuboyasu's. Perhaps he could get to...hangout with him. But you know Saiko is hard to hang around with.

Even though...an unidentifiable, fuzzy feeling dusted his brain, and...his stomach. He felt ill, but he sat warm and impassioned.

A realization set upon him as he knew he didn't think of Hanako as a pet, he thought of her as a companion.

And... he wants Kuboyasu to be the same way.

...

"So...why the HELL am i here...with... YOU? is it to humiliate me? because i will kick your fuckin' teeth in!"

"Nonsense! if you even try I'll call my guards to physically restrain you! We don't want that, now do we, poor boy?"

The rich boy smirks, he has anticipated this.
His hands found itself on his lap as he sat with his leg over the other, directly across from where Kuboyasu was sitting. They were in Saikos mansion, in the grand dining room. Maids and butlers were scuttling in, hands full of plates of steak, and various other fancy meat, placing them on the table in front of them. Saiko was poured some wine, so was Kuboyasu. He was feeling generous now.

"Asshole..."

Kuboyasu muttered, but he looked like he was fighting something inside him as he saw the delicious food. His mouth watered, and Saiko felt like he had already won. Won what, exactly? to impress this peasant he invited for dinner? No...

"Eat up, as much as you want, plebe! i know you're hungry."

"But why? you didn't answer my question! I...don't get why I'm here, bastard... do i owe you something if i eat this-- uh, not that i even WANT to!--but i can't impress someone as obnoxious as you, can i?"

The ex-punks eyebrows were furrowed, boiling inside him was confusion and a side of spice. Saiko puts a hand to his chin, his smirk not leaving him nor his arrogance.

"Well, the very thing that impresses me is how poor you are!"

Before Kuboyasu could get anymore riled up, Saiko held up his hand, stopping him from any yelling that would want to spill out of his loud mouth.

"But never mind it, eat and I'll...tell you afterwards."

Saiko cleared his throat, and started cutting through his steak.

"You better not be shittin' me..."

They both sat in mostly silence, faint classical music filling the absence of communication in the background.

Kuboyasu chomped down on his steak, it was a bit bloody so red would occasionally spill from his mouth. This did... make Saiko stare, and of course it would. Kuboyasus teeth were attractive. Saiko Metori, was attracted to a peasants teeth. He was attracted to a peasants mannerisms and aggressive behavior. He was... attracted to a fucking peasant...! What if Kuboyasu bit into his skin...? (Did he take his medication because what the fuck is wrong with him?)

How... did he end up like this? Hated the guy, and now he's over for an odd dinner date.

"You are...just like a wild animal, pleb."

Well, he accidentally let that one slip out. Saiko averted his eyes, feeling something warm creep up his neck, embarrassed. Kuboyasu stopped chewing his food, speaking in a mouthful. He blinked.

"What?"

"Nothing! how's the steak? any good? it better be, it's the best meat in the world! Kobe beef, right here in Japan!"

Saiko tried to play it off, as if he didn't say a thing, putting a napkin up to his mouth, clearing his throat once more. His stomach grumbled, suddenly he felt starved.

"That...doesn't explain anything, you weirdo..."

The short silence was interrupted by a small sigh from Saiko. His truth and confession was slowly unraveling, afraid to show it to this very thug.

It couldn't be worse than revealing veils of shame.

"Are you done eating? because i can show you."

"Show me what? don't tell me you're gonna kill me or something because i will f--"

Saiko clapped his hands, his butlers and maids taking the dishes away, and he stood up. He took a firm grip of Kuboyasu's arm and pulled him forwards. Peering up at him with an 'all-knowing' gaze.

"H-- Hey what the hell!?"

Now this is when Kuboyasu realizes Saiko was getting real unusual. He did initially think of being invited for dinner was weird...but this...what's even happening? should he be angry or very confused? Probably both.

Saiko was just an obnoxious self-centered asshole, what could he possibly want with him? He probably let him be here just to mess with him!

The rich boy pulled him towards a large door at the end of a hallway, his servants opening it for them. Saiko has presented a row of various different motorcycle models, from old to new, all lined up by the wall. The room smelled when you just get a new car.

"Whoah..."

Kuboyasu stared in amazement at every single bike, like he fell head over heals. Saiko would think he did, the punk always treated the vehicles like it was some sort of woman. Or man. Kuboyasu ran up to them, sliding his hands over every single one of them. Saiko smiles in amusement at the predictable reaction. But what was he, to gain from this? Was it to gain trust?

Why does he always question himself? couldn't he, give a confident answer.

"They're brilliant, aren't they? too bad a peasant like you can't afford this stuff... i guess I'll let you borrow them."

Saiko put a hand on Kuboyasus shoulder, peering behind him as Kuboyasu looked like an excited child who just got handed ice cream.

"Borrow? i think I'll keep them to myself!"

"Oh, really?"

Saiko suddenly felt warmth around his neck. Kuboyasu was glaring daggers into his eyes as he was preventing Saiko to breath. The pale man shakily breathed under his grip, his heart pounding heavily against his chest. There was less than an inch between them as Kuboyasu had his jaw open, Saiko gazing at those crooked but cruel canines of his. Who knows how many people he's killed with those.

Kuboyasus eyes had murderous intent, his grip getting painfully uncomfortable for Saiko. He could already feel the purple marks leaving onto his neck. He could hear Kuboyasus breath, it sounded and felt rough against his skin. Saiko was clenching his teeth, not fighting back, but resisting. He put a hand against the others chest with a confident whisper.

"Are you going to bite me?"

...

Kuboyasu blinks.

"What?"

So did Saiko.

Because Kuboyasu wasn't anywhere near him, but instead was inspecting and in awe over a motorcycle. Now he was in utter bewilderment as he stared, almost in horror, at Saiko.

"What...did you just say, bastard? Did i hear you right?"

What? What had just happen...?? Was that...even real? Was he having delusions!? Has he realized what he has become?

Shit, now he looks like a fucking weirdo.

"N- Nothing-- much, i was just talking to myself, pleb. Of course you can have the motorcycles! i have plenty more for m- myself!! I'm only merely giving you the scraps."

The taller male shook his head, in an "no-way-im-not-falling-for-that-shit" manner.

He took a hold of Saikos button-up shirt, popping a vein with clear annoyance written across his face. His teeth gritted together, obviously irritated by Saikos atypical behavior. Though, there was a distinct feeling of concern in the pit of his stomach.

"Tell me...what am i really here for? so you can flaunt your wealth to me, or just to be a weird-ass!?"

"If i invited you just to flaunt my wealth..then why would you deserve it?"

Kuboyasus grip lightened, tilting his head to the side, a glimpse of curiosity settled in his eyes. No matter how angry he was, he will always feel disoriented in the presence of Saiko.

"Are you suggesting...that i do deserve it...you rich fuck?"

The next thing Saiko does is something Kuboyasu would have never predicted.

He felt Saikos slender fingers open his jaw, forcing him to show his teeth. Saiko so desperately didn't want to make this into a weird way. He didn't want to be viewed as anything but himself.

"Perhaps."

This particular word rang through Kuboyasus ears. It was like he was dissociating at that very moment. Too busy dissolving into Saikos touch.

What exactly was this...prick doing?

"Your canines, how did they...become this way, plebe?"

"What? my...canines?"

"Your teeth. They're crooked..."

Kuboyasus eyebrows were furrowed , his expression a mix of anger and flustered feelings. He could hear his heartbeat in his ears. His cheeks had a red flush to them. The room felt warm, and the dinner food has been sitting cold.

"What...what the fuck are you talking about?! Has being rich make you lose your mind!?"

"You make me lose my mind, you damn--!"

Saikos head was hung down low, his hand gripping Kuboyasus chest now. He couldn't but feel like he had failed to do what he had orginally planned to do.

The thug only gazed down upon him, making Saiko feel small. To feel powerless.

He didn't let that feeling sink in much longer, though, he lifted his head back up.

"I'm not weird. I'm just better."

Saiko whispers.

What a stupid thing to say.

A finger went between Kuboyasus teeth, slightly pulling on his canines like how you would do with a big cat-- a tiger. Kuboyasus instinct was to chomp down on his finger. As he done this, Kuboyasus reaction was indescribable. I'm sure we all know how it'd go.

The rich boy faced away from him, keeping the boy in his peripheral vision. Like how he has always done before. He didn't...feel shame, exactly but more accomplishment. This was enough to fulfill his thoughts and wonders.

"Bite me as hard as you want, but you will not hurt someone like me, Aren."

Eat my heart, eat my insides out, and it won't matter. Because it shall not hurt me.

Is...what he would've like to say. It would help counterbalance the tension, at least.

Even if he said it, Kuboyasu would have still been as speechless as he is right now.

"I...Saiko Metori...ask you to be my companion."

His confidence became shaky, like a stack of blocks was about to collapse. But he managed to stack that last block to the top.

He's not aware of just...how...not normal this was. A normal person wouldn't do all this to ask someone to be their 'friend.' Saiko definitely could've skipped the teeth stuff-- it made feel like... a cannibal? to bite? to bite is to love, he thinks.

Maybe Kuboyasu thought that too. He was peering into his soul, looking like he had a million things to say, but at the same time not a thought behind those eyes.

"Wh..."

The tension and awkwardness was rising between them, and Saiko was getting anxious and embarrassed. His knees were starting to tremble as he waited for an answer. He felt his confidence lower as he waited and waited.

...

"Say something, goddamnit!"

Saiko shook Kuboyasu, hoping to shake out the little bit of life he had in him.

"SHUT UP!! I'm just so-- what the HELL!? is this your way of asking someone to be your friend!? Wh- WHY'D YOU PUT YOUR FINGER IN MY MOUTH!?"

"Nevermind IT! just say yes or no, not that hard PEASANT! or else-- I'm kicking you out!"

They both looked into each others eyes, both equally as flustered as the other. Kuboyasu responded surprising calm.

"You think i can't hurt you with a bite?"

Saiko blinks at that answer. Also, nonchalantly;

"You can certainly try."

"What are you saying here? Are you suggesting I'm some sort of cannibal...!?"

Saiko gave him a sly look. Cannibalism... was something. Obviously he would never eat, or wanted to get eaten by someone, but if he did, now he would consider it.

"No, but you act like one."

"HUH!?"

The rich boy snickered, amusement washing over him as he got pulled into Kuboyasu. The thug has never felt this much mixed signals in his life, but he's kinda starting to feel things for Saiko.

"I..."

Kuboyasu lets out a deep sigh, face still red.

"I'll be your friend."

His heart was pounding. Mind feeling like it was running around in circles.

"When did i say 'friend'? what kind of peasant friend wants to bite you?"

Kuboyasus looked shocked, tensing up as Saiko said this. Maybe he couldn't beat around the bush after all.

"O-okay fine!? So-- what then!? what do you want me to be!?"

Saiko has shifted his position, no embarrassment, no shame. His posture felt bold, and his movements felt true. His fingers tugged at the end of Kuboyasus shirt as he peered up at him with such a gaze. His eyes almost felt hypnotizing to Kuboyasu, and it probably was after the words Saiko let out.

"To be the one to eat my heart out."
