Cal’s Creature

Summary:
“Cal opens his eyes and it’s… well, he honestly can’t tell. It’s a plush creature about the size of his hand. Oblong, covered in black fluff, with eleven button eyes (none of which are the same color or shape) scattered around the front and two rows of six stubs on the underside he assumes are supposed to be legs. Black-and-blue-striped felt spikes down its back. A wispy bit of fabric at the far end, presumably a tail.”
I thought it would be fun to make the Creature from sauntering_down’s excellent fic this is a gift (it comes with a price) and this was the result!

I read sauntering_down’s description of the Creature that Merrin gives Cal and, being a person who owns far more buttons than a reasonable human being should, decided to create what I think the Creature looks like. Go read sauntering_down’s fic for context! (And then read the rest of their fics because they’re all awesome!)
