Despite the gravity of the mission, it is a relief that months and months of work have finally culminated in a successful launch. Whether it will be a successful mission, they do not know, and they will not know for years to come. For now there is nothing to do but cheer and make plans for drinks, a bit of welcome levity in the non-stop stress of an incoming apocalypse.
