Chapter Text
There was a spark that was artificially split to fill in two remaining prefabricated frames that were to be inspected once they came to an animated state. They were created to be miners and their first thought was to follow their programming. That was until they were captivated by the rosy hue of the surrounding atmosphere, the towering architecture that loomed above the depository where they had been born.
Their exploration was abruptly halted as they were herded onto a ship, bound for one of the moons orbiting a colonized planet. The sight that greeted them upon arrival was breathtaking—a world vibrant with colors and textures, illuminated by the glow of the system's star and the twinkling lights of buildings casting shadows below.
Yet, amidst the wonder, a sense of longing stirred within them. Their gaze turned to a tunnel leading into darkness, a path they couldn't see the end of. In that moment, they realized they didn't want to spend their existence in the depths. They yearned to return to the surface, to bask in the light and explore the world that lay beyond the shadows.
