3. Pooling Emotions - Grieving high school student Mike has an unexpected encounter. 3rd POV (my norm writing style) *This piece was written around the time I had my first major loss in life and having to deal with the aftermath*
4. Of Fish and Elephants- Two kids find themselves erasing the line between reality and imagination.
5. Switching it Up - An electrician gets an interesting call by a panicked new homeowner.
6. Flea-ting Memories - Calliope receives a letter from her cryptid believing parent. (Letter style)
7. Pest Control - Two sisters deal with a mechanical issue on their farm. (Inspired by folklore, with a modern spin)

8. A Song for the Soul - Sydney stumbles into an unexpected situation, where she meets a strange pianist. (Inspired by Little Nightmares II)
BTW: My writing skills have changed a lot over the past few years, I began this whole thing in high school! I often reread these pieces and find myself cringing in places, but I want to just let you guys know I probably won't rewrite the earliest chapters. They're an homage to a young me figuring out creative writing, and I want to honor those mistakes. That's the beauty of writing, it's an art, and I think it's important to see how you've grown over the years.
So, if you're not a fan of a chapter, I ask you to please consider checking out a different chapter! That's the beauty of an anthology after all, they're all independent stories :)
