Summary
A powerful kitsune sorcerer and her loyal lizardfolk companion - and lover - arrive at the remote mountain village of Arashibetsu, hoping to find The Ruby of Ten Thousand Flames, an ancient and powerful artifact that might help them unlock the secrets of their pasts. Unfortunately for them, the artifact has been shattered and stolen by the time they arrive; fortunately, they receive the help of another kitsune sorcerer, the village chief's daughter, in their quest to find the Ruby. Just one problem: their new companion quickly develops an intense attraction to the lizardfolk, intense enough that she soon finds herself eager to steal him away for herself. This soon threatens to derail not just the whole adventure, but the entire relationship binding the two lovers together in the first place; indeed, a clash between the two kitsune may be the only way this ends, as even the most patient fox may find herself provoked to violence against someone threatening to take that which she holds most dear...
