Summary
Choi Jun had selected the wine just for Lee, had poured it to let it breathe an hour before Lee had come over. Lee had inhaled the scent through his nose as he’d sipped it, the aroma adding complexity to the flavors flowing over his tongue. Notes of coffee, dark cocoa, and buttery, rich blackcurrant had met so well in his mouth that his eyes had rolled back and he'd moaned, “Oh my god, this is amazing.”
Choi Jun had smiled over the rim of his glass of bourbon, a sweet, smoky American liquor he often sipped in the evening. A crystal-cut tumbler of it is now sitting half-finished, right next to Lee's half-finished wine, on the bedside table.
