    The stagnant air seems suddenly charged, revitalised with the tangible taste of anticipation that softens the whiskey burn in the back of his throat. A gentle hush falls over the room, waiting for something that Dean doesn’t know, but finds himself swept up in anyway.

    A shuffle, the sound of a door on the far side of the room opening and closing. Then, a voice.

    It’s sonorous sound rings resplendent through the room, something that seems too beautiful to exist here, amongst the tobacco rough voices and rowdy shouts of the other customers, and Dean watches in something too fragile to be awe as the most beautiful man he’s ever seen makes his way to the centre of the stage.
