Kusuri poured a little more of the blue liquid. "Just a little of this, and...yep yep! The 'Affectionate Power Over 9,000 Drug' is complete!"
"That's so cool!" Rentarou smiled. "I love having such a smart and passionate girlfriend like you!"
Kusuri giggled; throwing her physically eight-year-old arms around Rentarou's waist as best she could. "Kusuri is lucky to have a boyfriend as kind and cool as you, yep yep!"
"So, what exactly does this drug do?" Rentarou asked.
"It increases oxytocin and serotonin depending on who you're with, yep yep. It essentially just enhances happy feelings with someone."
Rentarou nodded once. "And side effects?"
"I dunno! Kusuri is gonna try it out, though!" Kusuri took the test tube and, defying the rules of being in a chemistry lab, took a drink directly from the tube. "Mmm! Yummy! It tastes a lot like bubble gum, yep yep!" She then froze, and a loud burp escaped her. "Oops! Hehe!"
Rentarou chuckled. "So? How do you feel?"
"Hm..." Kusuri tapped her chin, deep in thought. "Kusuri feels...like she wantsta be in your arms and kissed all over." Kusuri looked up at Rentarou, feeling her whole body ache. "Please, Rentarou...hold Kusuri close..."
Rentarou sat on the lab floor and held his arms out. "Come on."
Kusuri rushed over to him and started peppering kisses all over Rentarou's face. She felt Rentarou pull her close, and she looked up at Rentarou, smiling widely.
"Kusuri really, really, really, really, really loves Rentarou!" Kusuri declared, rubbing her nose against Rentarou's. "Kusuri likes how Rentarou holds her like she's the most precious thing in his world!"
"Well, Kusuri is!" Rentarou beamed. "You are the most precious thing in the world."
Kusuri nuzzled Rentarou's neck. "Kusuri wants to be with Rentarou forever!"
"And I want to be with you forever, too." Rentarou placed a small kiss to Kusuri's forehead.
Kusuri giggled and closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of Rentarou's arms around her. She froze with a small whine. "Kusuri really gots to pee, and she forgot her diaper."
Rentarou let Kusuri go. "You should go to the bathroom."
Kusuri squeezed her eyes shut. "Rentarou...please...K-Kusuri can't stand it...please, more affection..."
Rentarou picked up Kusuri into a princess carry and ran over to the medicine cabinet. In it was the drug-reversal drug.
"Here!' Rentarou held Kusuri up. "Go ahead and grab it!"
Kusuri reached up and took it, succeeding in taking the drug. Along with feeling more okay without touch, Kusuri went into her normal form of a high school student, causing Rentarou to fall. Somehow, he managed to keep Kusuri from getting hurt.
"Thank you, Rentarou." Kusuri kissed Rentarou's nose with a smile. "Kusuri loves you very much, yep yep."
"I love you, too!" Rentarou gushed. "You should probably use the bathroom now, though."
"Oh! Right!" Kusuri slid off Rentarou and stood, holding out a hand. "Do you want to cuddle like this when Kusuri comes back?"
Rentarou nodded, and Kusuri ran off to the bathroom. When she came back, Rentarou was waiting.
"Kusuri wants to cuddle you, yep!" Kusuri sat on the floor beside Rentarou. "Sit in Kusuri's lap, please."
Rentarou nodded and sat in her lap, and Kusuri noticed that he was blushing madly.
"Has Rentarou never been cuddled like this before?" Kusuri asked.
"W-Well, u-um, no."
"Kusuri is glad to be your first," Kusuri smiled, kissing the top of Rentarou's head. "Kusuri hopes her boobs make good pillows, too~"
Rentarou squeaked, and Kusuri laughed, holding her boyfriend as close as possible.
"Kusuri is glad you are in her life," she murmured. "Without you, she would be very sad and not as confident that she's not a screw-up, yep yep."
"Of course you aren't!" Rentarou looked back at her, his expression stern but kind. "You're passionate, smart, kind, beautiful, adorable, and so, so amazing! You are not a screw-up, and you are perfect the way you are! You always make things so much more interesting, and you never fail to make me smile!"
Kusuri felt her eyes sting, and she lifted her glasses to wipe away her tears. "K-Kusuri knows how much Rentarou treasures her, b-but sometimes insecurity bothers her."
"It's okay to be insecure sometimes," Rentarou muttered, hugging Kusuri's arm. "Just don't forget that you're wonderful and that the entire family loves you. I love you."
"Kusuri loves Rentarou too, yep yep!"
