Summary
Soon, the song came to an end and Claude brought them next to the railing, right where they had started. Even as the last few notes of the song faded away, neither of them made a move to let go. When they came to a stop, Claude found himself pinned between the railing and Shu, their faces a mere breath away. His heart was beating so loud, he was almost positive Shu could hear it in the silence.
Gently, Shu nudged the tip of Claude’s nose with his own, eyes dropping to the younger’s lips and looking back up, almost hesitant. Claude didn’t dare to breathe.
“Can I kiss you?” Shu murmured, voice hushed even though it was only the two of them alone.
Claude let out a shaky “Please,” as his answer before leaning up to press their lips together.
