It’s only been a few weeks since II began to live with Vessel.
And yet he doesn’t know everything and doesn’t expect certain things; doesn’t know certain things.
So, he certainly doesn’t expect it at all when Vessel crumples to the floor, the knife dropping from his hand to land point down into the hardwood floor.
Or,
Vessel is summoned to Sleep’s Realm regularly. When this happens he passes out no matter where he is or what is happening. His body stops as his mind is taken somewhere else. Luckily, his friends are there to catch him when it happens.
