Work Text:
The morning sunshine comes up as I first open my eyes to wake up and get out of bed. I stretch my arms and shortly yawn after that. I walked near the window and started to look. I realized that today is a sunny day, which means I will go to any place I desire.
So I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, comb my hair, get rid of my pajamas, and change into my typical navy blue hoodie, denim jeans, and white socks before I came downstairs to ask my mom, who was currently watching the news, to make me breakfast.
“May I have breakfast as usual?” I asked.
“Sure.” My mom replied before preparing some pancakes, bacon, and a fried egg for breakfast.
Once the breakfast is set up, along with the drinks, I come to the dining area to eat some breakfast and the vitamins and medication I need for my body.
After that, I walked into my computer work area for homework. The homework is a midterm quiz, which contains at least 15 questions. So, I decided to begin working on it. Several minutes later, when I encountered the last question after answering the other 14 questions, the question was, “What is a script?”
I was puzzled when I suddenly heard a voice inside my head.
“Every time you think, you get smarter for a long time until you die…”
As an autistic person like myself, I tried to cope with things like making friends and solving problems. Still, since I’m so intelligent and creative, I answered the last question by hitting the B section, which says, “A written story and guidelines where the plot, characters, dialogue, and setting are taking place.” After I took the quiz, I submitted it, and eventually, the resulting grade was 70%, which isn’t that bad at all, but I wish my grade had been higher.
“Damn, I wish the grade is expected to be higher.” I thought to myself as I had a concerned look on my face.
I leave the work area as I get my charged phone in the kitchen before moving to the living room to lie down on the sofa. I opened the Reddit app to see what’s happening with the world. I stumbled upon the article on a science-related subreddit that states that a person’s IQ increases as they age.
“So, that’s it?” I asked myself.
As a young person, my IQ increases every year until I eventually die in the future, and well, that's it…
