“This is a literal leap of faith,” Harry complained, eyeing the gap between buildings.
“If I can make it, you can,” Tom challenged.
“This isn't a good idea.”
“I've done it.”
“But-”
“Your choice, Harry, but I’m getting the best view.”
“Why not the field with everyone else?”
Tom shrugged, unwilling to admit he’d wanted to impress him.
“You sure-?”
“Yes.”
Harry sighed. Taking three steps back, he jumped and landed with a graceless thud.
Tom cursed as he crashed into him a moment later. The fireworks began directly overhead as they lay sprawled out beside each other.
“Oh.”
“Exactly.”
