   Summary

   The Joker is dead. The world has moved on, and Bruce is no longer needed. And now the Joker is dead.

   Universe hopping is generally frowned upon. Certainly so like this. He would be taking over the body of another man. Another life, another him, that could grow into someone different.

   But Bruce is sure that the price to pay is worth it for at least a single world without the death toll that could be prevented if just one man is stopped from falling. Bruce is not worth more than the people this would save.

   The fact that his own world without the Joker there to help feels empty doesn't impact his decision at all. Whoever he finds won't really be the Joker. Not anymore.

   And hopefully, with him there, it will stay that way.
