Chapter Text
To say he was angry would be the understatement of the century. Draco was absolutely livid.
All his life he'd been waiting, dreaming, to one day claim the title of Triwizard champion for himself. And his dream had been well in reach when Beauxbatons was invited to take place in the tournament being hosted at Hogwarts. He was positively ecstatic at the idea of finally making his lifetime dream come true. But a stopper was quickly put in his plan when it was announced that only female students would be allowed to travel to Hogwarts.
Which brings us back to his new and improved plan. Two girls loomed over Draco, examining him from every angle. He peered over at his older sister, Lia, who had her silver grey eyes narrowed in scrutiny.
"Well, you already look like a girl, so you've got that going for you," she spoke in a matter-of-fact tone. Her eyes narrowed again and she spun him around in the rotating chair he sat on, causing him to feel slightly dizzy.
"Yeah, these Veela genes are finally doing something good for me," Draco said sourly as he grabbed hold of the vanity to stop himself from spinning.
"You ought to stop listening to the utter tripe coming out father's mouth," Lia said again, turning away to grab something from her nightstand.
"Yeah, Dray. Your father really is a prick," came a voice from his left and he turned to look at Mika, her expression soft and understanding. He was still quite astonished at how different the girl was from his sister. Her bright pink hair stood in contrast with the signature Malfoy platinum blonde, her deep blue eyes complimented by fair skin. His sister, Mika's girlfriend, as pale as him with the once again signature Malfoy grey eyes.
"The only thing I can think of that might help in your plan is to bring your voice up an octave or two," Lia spoke, returning from her nightstand with her Ebony wand in hand. She waved the wand over his vocal cords and muttered a spell Draco couldn't quite catch. He felt a slight scratchy feeling in his throat, prompting him to clear it.
When he did, he could already hear the difference. He opened his mouth and spoke. "Er..." he tested, and his eyes widened at the difference in his voice. If he didn't know for himself that there was in fact not a single female bone in his body, he may have guessed that the voice belonged to a girl. "Brilliant."
"Remind me again why I'm helping you do this," Lia asked and Mika nodded, placing a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder.
"Well, if you can recall, the Triwizard tournament is being held at Hogwarts this year," he stopped to clear his throat, not used to the new feeling of speaking with strained vocal cords. "And if you can also recall, I've wanted to take part in the tournament as a kid. And seeing as only girls are allowed to go take part in the tournament, which I still think is stupidly unfair, I came up with this ingenius plan where you help me act like a girl and in turn, I'll be able to go to Hogwarts and fulfill my childhood dreams." Draco finished rambling and took in a deep breath.
"Yes, ingenius indeed my dearest little brother." Lia's tone was sarcastic, and Draco shot her a glare, which she returned with a grin and a chuckle.
"Well then, love. I believe this is where you shine." Lia looked over to Mika who was practically jumping up and down in excitement. She practically pounced on Draco and started taking him through various actions, teaching him how to walk like a girl, talk like a girl. Hell, she even taught him how to laugh like a girl. By the end of Mika's lessons, Draco's head was spinning with the copious amounts of information he'd had to absorb. But he was grateful. Grateful for the fact that his sister hadn't turned him away at his odd request and grateful for her girlfriend that was eager to help him in his quest.
He went to bed with one of Mika's female Beauxbatons uniforms hung neatly against his closet door, and he drifted off to sleep, reciting the ways girls were supposed to sit and anticipating the events of the day that would follow.
