Summary
When a string of cross-species mutants wreak havoc on the city, Deadpool hunts down Peter Parker at Oscorp for help. Wade doesn't know about Peter's super-sized secret, and to make matters worse, Spider-Man and Deadpool have had a longstanding friendship that further complicates the budding relationship between Peter and Wade. Now, Peter has to hide his superhero identity and wrestle with some less than holy feelings, as he and Wade find themselves in a string of absurd situations.

Summary
'Bruce was only watching to see how Clark’s sparring was coming along... He wasn’t watching Clark because he liked him or found him attractive. That would be foolish, and not sensible at all, and a distraction from the more important things in life, like beating up criminals every night and passing his exams.'
When Clark Kent gets into yet another fight on a night out, his friend Diana suggests he joins the university boxing club to get used to fighting back, without killing someone with his superpowers. Bruce Wayne has just transferred to Metropolis City University and he isn’t happy about it. Unlike everyone else he knows, he misses Gotham. He already has to balance university, being Batman, and his adopted son. As Bruce and Clark grow closer, he also has to manage his growing feelings - which he definitely doesn't have.
CONTENT WARNINGS: a little bit of swearing, implied abuse, implied & described mild violence, lots of discussion of dead parents.
This is an AU drawing on several different versions of characters and also my own interpretation of them. Bruce is Battinson, Clark is Corensupes & Smallville, Lex is Smallville, the others are assorted or amalgamations. -

Now they are taking the leap for real, but it's hardly smooth sailing. Between supervillain plots, revenge, and parent-teacher conferences, the World's Finest heroes may not be up for their most challenging fight yet.
