Summary
Averus is fighting a war against their neighboring Kingdom, Allium. Prince Crowley's world is turned upside down when his father King Lucian, and Averus' general, Aziraphale, are both gravely injured in the fighting. His father's dying wish is for peace, but before they can end the war, Aziraphale must first survive his own injuries.
Of course, survival doesn't mean things will be easy. When Aziraphale is the only one Crowley knows he can trust, but his injuries prevent him from going back to lead the Army, what's a young King to do to keep his most loyal subject as an advisor when all the positions are already filled?
Well, the King is allowed to bring his concubine to meetings as long as they sit at his feet and say nothing. Maybe Crowley and Aziraphale can come to some sort of arrangement?
