Summary
It's the start of Carmine's junior year at Blueberry University, and she's only interested in three things: getting good grades, spending time with her small circle of friends, and making sure her younger brother, Kieran, adjusts well to city college life as an incoming freshman.
To Carmine's surprise, Kieran seems to be adjusting well. He beamed over learning that his long-term crush, Juliana, had picked the same college as him after running into her during his orientation. Carmine herself even had an unexpected reunion with Drayton - a "friend" from her past who she had fallen out of touch with after learning that he had apparently become some sort of party-loving campus heartbreaker. Despite her successful aversions of him on campus, Drayton had managed to taunt her into a bet on the direction of Kieran and Juliana's relationship. Carmine seized the opportunity to wager against Drayton in hopes to halt his womanizing tendencies, but did she get in over her head with agreeing to the bet?
