In less than a day since he stepped foot on the planet, he had a job and, in tandem, a roof over his head.
Not bad for someone with no credits, no ties to anyone in the community, and no past he can speak of. He’s gotten efficient at this, after so many times starting anew.
There’s no pride in the sentiment, only weariness. He can only hope that this time it lasts, that he won’t slip up again, that the Empire won’t catch up to him here. He’s more than prepared to run again, but he’s tired of it.
