    Summary

February, 1958. One week before Lent, a rural quaint English village has its feathers ruffled when the old bakery is reopened as a chocolate shop by a new tenant, Sherlock Holmes. The mayor of the village, Mycroft Holmes, believes firmly in routine and order and societal rank. Immediately rankled by his brother’s presence in the village, Mycroft’s frustrations are furthered when a group of Travellers arrive in the village and make their home on the village’s river.

Among them is Molly Hooper, who Sherlock begins to take an interest in. But with knowing Molly comes a startling realisation for the youngest Holmes brother: his life, perfect as it is, might just be in need of repair.
