I Win!

Summary:

Alastor & Husk play a game after Alastor moves his drink.

Notes:

Hiii I haven't written anything in a while and here is why; I was working on the 2nd chapter for Change My Clothes when the app I use (wattpad) deleted 4k words. I immediately stopped all of my works because I lost all interest in writing then.

I AM back to working on my writings, give me some time to update other books. It'll be slow because I'm still upset about what happened.

Until then, enjoy this stupid idea for RadioHusk that I had come up with a while back! I love them so much. Except for this to become a whole thing btw. <3

Work Text:

The hotel was quiet, everyone in the lounge area, soft chatter and laughs leaving the residents. Everyone enjoyed the quiet and soft atmosphere. Nothing could possibly ruin the mood and energy.

“Alastor!”

And there it was.

The moment was completely ruined by Husker's yell. Angel Dust, who was sitting on the couch with Cherri, turned to look at the anthro who was cursing under his breathe as he rummaged for his drink. “Don't ruin the moment kitty.” Angel spoke, an over exaggerated sigh leaving him. Another incoherent grumble left the cat sinner.

“Something the matter my dear friend?” Alastor popped up behind him, too close for comfort. Husk jumped slightly, his eyes wide.

“Mother fucker,” He hissed. Niffty popped up, playing in Angel Dust's hair.

“Damn it Niff,” Angel sighed being smiling and taking a selfie. Husk and Alastor spoke to one another quietly. The soft and quiet energy filled the space again, everyone back to enjoying themselves and letting the two sinners at the bar do whatever. And that's when the countdown started.

“3.” Husker's voice sounded throughout the room. Everyone watched as Alastor ran past them, his smile wide, a static-like laugh escaping his lips. Husk moved from behind the bar, taking his hat off and setting it down. “2.” Alastor had made his way up the stairs. Niffty stopped playing with Angel's hair, her expression happy as she bounced on her toes on the back of the couch, clearly excited about something. “1.” Husk hummed before he ran past the couch and up the stairs.

Everyone stared in silence, confused by the situation at hand.

Upstairs Husk was searching for Alastor. His ears twitched and moved as he listened for the overlord. Both of his ears went up when he heard a soft huff. On his toes, Husk made his way towards where he had heard the noise, peaking around a corner to see Alastor breathing heavily. Running, clearly, was not the overlord's strong suit, which is ironic considering he was a deer of sorts. Husk's ears laid flat against his head as he snuck up on Alastor, his tail twitching slightly and wings expanding. Husk quickly jumped Alastor, wrapping his legs around Alastor's torso and his tail around his leg. “I win!” Husk yelled, his arms in the air with a wide smile on his face. Alastor's wide grin faltered ever so slightly, his brows furrowed.

He hated losing this stupid game.

“Husker, if you would please,”

“Not a fuckin' chance.”

“I thought so.” Alastor sighed.

“Giddy up cowboy,” Husk's laughed, his tail wagging. An annoyed sigh left Alastor and he stood up straight, letting Husk get comfortable before he began the very regrettable journey back down the stairs. Husk's smile never faltered the entire way down, finding entertainment in Alastor's embarrassment. The overlord stopped in the lounge area. Everyone's eyes on him made him visibly uncomfortable. Which is odd, knowing Alastor and his attention sucking ass, but he wasn't one to like to be humiliated. So as the girls, and Angel Dust, laugh or coo at the display, he lets off static sounds, showing just how uncomfortable he actually was with the situation. Husk, knowing this, frowned. Usually when they did this Alastor had liked it. Maybe it was because it was around other people? That must have been the problem.

He put his chin on top of Alastor's head, right between his ears, and closed his eyes, letting his ears lay flat against his head. Alastor's static stopped. He felt the soft vibrations on his back and Husk's chin on his head.

Husk was purring.

Calming down, Alastor let the girls continue their strange behavior, his attention now solely on the soft purring that left the man on his back. He would tell Husker later about their little arrangement and how he felt about the humiliation. He knew the other would understand his discomfort, especially with how he was acting right now.

Alastor also planned to get him back for this stupid game.

Notes:

It's short, I know.

I have never really written in their personalities before - which can be said for a lot of characters - but it's always best to try new things!

Hope y'all liked it! 💞
