Buck walks into his house, which is a mess. He sees Eddie lying on the couch with a woman on top of him; all spread out. Before he can get angry, he sees that Eddie's clothes are on and both are asleep. He sees food everywhere and smiles. As Buck cleans up the house, the door opens. Chief Alonzo comes in. Buck raises an eyebrow at him. The man sighs.
"I'm here for my daughter. I tracked her down. I see Diaz knows her." He is unimpressed with the position of the sleep. Eddie and the woman are now cuddling.
"At least they weren't having sex," Buck tells him. The dad nods.
"True. Do you know how they know each other?" The chief asks Buck.
"What is her name?" Buck asks.
"Lydia," Alonzo answers, Buck's eyes widening.
"I think they served together," Buck tells him. The dad's eyes widen.
"So this is her Eddie. That makes sense," He says.
"Her Eddie?" Buck questions. Alonzo smiles.
"Her little brother. Her protector," Alonzo answers. Both men see Lydia and Eddie holding each other. The woman starts to move, and Eddie pushes her off. Buck and Alonzo laugh.
"Little shit," Dad says fondly. Buck smiles sadly.
"Wilson, Han, and my sister think Eddie is cheating on me with Lydia. They managed to turn the A-shift turn on Eddie. Captain Nash has transferred him to C-shift. It was to protect Eddie. We are repairing our relationship," Buck tells him. The chief sighs.
"Nash already told me that the A-shift was trouble," He tells the blond. Buck goes back to cleaning, and the chief helps him.
"Buck? Chief?" Eddie's questioning tone makes the two men turn. Eddie's slurry voice is thick with sleep.
"Hey, Eds," Buck tells him with a soft smile.
"Eddie," The chief greets. This young man is his daughter's little brother. He may as well adopt him as his son, as his daughter loves him.
"Dad?" Lydia's rough from sleep voice comes through.
"Hey, Lydia. Did you two have fun?" Dad teases his children. Both blink owlishly at him, and Buck laughs.
"Did you just adopt Eddie?" Buck questions the chief.
"Might as well, as Lydia's fond of him," The chief answers. Buck laughs. Buck goes to Eddie, and the dark-haired man grabs him.
"I love how cuddly you are when you're not awake," Buck admits to Eddie while kissing his forehead. Lydia didn't want to feel left out and joined the cuddle. Alonzo laughs.
"Children," He says and grabs his daughter; however, Buck smirks as Lydia leans further into Eddie. Alonzo smiles a soft dad smile.
"I'll cook you some food. You and Eddie come to HQ for paperwork," Alonzo tells him and goes to the kitchen. Buck smiles, watching the two siblings sleep softly and soundly against him. Once the chief has cooked the man's food, he gets his daughter into his arms.
"NO!" Lydia squirms out of his hold. Chief Alonzo puts her down and sits on the chair on their other side. Buck laughs. The dad is on his phone.
"Her mother is coming over. I'm adopting Diaz," The man reluctantly says, and Buck smiles. Both know he doesn't mind Eddie, but Alonzo is excellent at compartmentalizing feelings.
"What's going to happen now?" Buck asks—the dad of two sighs.
"I need to talk to Daiz first," Alonzo tells him. Buck nods in understanding.
"Eddie," Buck says. Alonzo looks at him.
"He likes to be called Eddie," Buck tells him—the Chief hums. Before anyone can say anything, there's a knock on the door. However, someone didn't like to wait and let themself in. Both men are confused with the group of ladies that came in.
"Sasha, Sonya, Brittnay, Nastash, Natalie, and Carina? What can I do for you?" Chief Alonzo asks in a calming tone. He sees his wife blinking with confusion.
"They heard that Lydia is with Eddie and wanted to come with me," She says to him. Alonzo sighs, and Buck looks at them with wide eyes.
"Did Ramon and Helena cheat, or did they steal Eddie?" Buck fears the worst. Everyone pauses at the question.
"Helena Malmquist has stolen Edmundo Francisco Alonzo from Luis Miguel Alonzo dé Diaz and Monica Lorena Alonzo. They have identical twins, Edmundo and Lydia Yaiza Alonzo," Sasha tells them. Everyone looks at her. Luis and Monica are in shock.
"I'm not adopting the man," The Chief tells Buck, and he laughs. This confused the women.
"What now?" Buck questions. Eddie snuggles further into Buck, and the blond kisses his forehead. That settled Eddie. Luis and Monica look at the blond with concern.
"Eddie's semi-asleep so he can hear, but my kissing his forehead lets Eddie know I'm here and he's safe. It's safe to fall asleep again," Buck explains. Luis smiles at their softness for each other.
"Thank you for being a loving partner to our son," Monica tells him. Buck blushes.
"We try," Buck tells her. The parents smile. Luis looks at his children and smiles. He loves them, and to see them together makes him happy. He will make things better for his son. Luis knows Helena and knows that his brother has no balls around his wife.
Luis talks to his brother-in-law, Gabriel, about Helena. The Texas Ranger promised him that he was on it. Helena is thrown into jail, and the whole trafficking and ring are taken down. Eddie gets to know his parents and marries Buck. Lydia is happy to have her little brother with her. Ramon is heartbroken, but Pepa and Andrea get their brother help.
