Robin holds up two earrings, asking which looks better with her outfit. Steve squints, trying to make out the difference between the two. He still can’t see them so he steps forward, still squinting until his vision finally focuses and he can make out the little star in one hand, and the plain stud in the other. “The stars, definitely.”
Robin is staring at him with wide eyes.
Steve’s face scrunches in confusion. “What?”
Robin huffs out a laugh. “You’re blind!”
Steve scoffs, rolling his eyes. “I am not. You were just too far away.”
Robin shakes her head. “No–no. You were all squinty even when you got closer. You need glasses , Steven.”
Steve shakes his head, letting out a curt laugh. “I do not.”
Robin scoffs loudly, grabbing a piece of paper and pen, scribbling something quickly and hurrying across the room, holding the sheet up. “What does this say?”
Steve sighs, looking over at her, his eyes squinting automatically and– shit. He can’t even make out that there’s any words on the paper. Just blurry lines. “Uhhh–”
Robin crumples up the paper and chucks it at him with impressive aim, beaming him right in the face. Steve stoops down and grabs the paper off the floor, opening it up–
You need glasses, dingus.
Steve sighs, looking sheepishly up at her. “Okay. I’ll make an appointment.”
