Summary
Three years after returning from the afterlife, Seto Kaiba is not exactly having the best of times. He’s on the verge of losing his company, self-medicating with lots of booze, cigarettes, and meaningless sex, and worst of all, his thoughts are being haunted by a malevolent spirit he brought back from the afterlife. As his life descends into chaos, Kaiba finds himself increasingly disillusioned by the world and its empty promises.
That is until he finds himself drawn to Kira White, an enigmatic stranger who just so happens to look like the spitting image of Kisara, the former host of his beloved Blue Eyes White Dragon who is long dead now. Caught in a whirlwind of passion and destiny, Kaiba and Kira must navigate the complexities of their present lives while confronting the echoes of their shared past. Yet, forces beyond their control threaten to tear them apart once again, especially as a certain spirit begins to take a keen interest in Kira...Will they defy the odds and rewrite their fate, or are they destined to repeat the mistakes of their past?
