"Hey, dad."
"Yes?"
"Do you think I need a new suit?"
Edward looked at his son, he was checking out his worn out spandex and putting gel on his hair.
"If I am completely honest, I must recognize you can actually pull the spandex look."
Sherman snickered, "I know, but still, should I use something more mature?"
"You are still young, you should wait some years and then you can slip into something more 'elegant', take me for example; I began with a spandex, then it was a suit with question marks and now it's just green."
"Yeah but, everyone has an upgrade and I don't."
"I don't know about that."
"Even the Robins change their suits!"
Edward hummed.
"What are you getting all dressed up for?"
Sherman froze for a moment "Nothing, I'm just..." He left his father's question unanswered, a risky move.
"Got any plans for today?"
"Oh, just a robbery, no big deal." Sherman shrugged it off, a tint of nervousness in his voice.
"Were you getting bored?"
"Yeah, I mean, it's child's play so I was thinking about stepping it up a bit.'
"Oh! Are you doing it mid-day?"
"No, I'm just stepping up my showmanship game."
"Ah! Exciting, do you need help with anything?"
"None at all, I've been planning this for a while."
Edward just nodded in approval, a proud smile on his face, Sherman just went back to fixing his hair, relieved he had been able to hide his true motives.
"THAT IS SO FUNNY, GOD."
Edward was pissed, and Harley seemed to take great pleasure in it.
"It's not, not funny, at all."
