   Summary

   “Let me get this straight. Out of all the people in our campsite you could have tried to feed from…you chose the uncontrollably violent amnesiac?”

   Astarion flounders for an explanation. Dirge’s blood still smells so sweet, so tempting, yet it’s impossible to gauge how they’d react if they heard the truth. “Well, obviously I didn’t expect you to wake up.”

   (Dirge lets Astarion kill them, hoping to neutralise the threat their urge poses. Astarion drinks their blood, and their urge temporarily bleeds into him. Two chapters, two POVs, one scene. The graphic sexual/dead dove content is only in the second chapter, so you can read the first one without worry!)
