Summary
Ghost led Soap through the halls of the base to his office. Soap had been in the office a number of times, most of them good memories. Those good memories hurt, but he held his pain as he waited. “Fuckin’ hell, Johnny, sit down. You’ve never. . . I’m sorry. Okay? Just. . . Just sit.”
Seeing Ghost’s struggle, Johnny acquiesced with the request. “You don’t get to call me ‘Johnny’ anymore, sir,” Soap told him. “Right, I forgot. Sorry, John, I’m not good at this. Let me get all of this out, then you can talk or leave or whatever.”
