Summary
Eddie won’t sell to Steve so he goes to Rick who sees an opportunity and takes advantage of it.

Rick hooks an arm around Steve's shoulders pulling him out of the chill November air. "Let me smoke you out, my way of apologizing for his poor behavior.”
Rick pulls him down the short hallway to the living room, pushing Steve down on the couch as he starts to protest, “you don’t-“
Rick keeps a firm hand on Steve's shoulder, “got nothing better to do and I wouldn’t mind the company.”
Only when Steve agrees, “yeah, alright,” does Rick pull his hand back, moving toward the kitchen.
“Want a beer?” He asks, already pulling two out of the fridge, it doesn't matter what Steve says he is getting one.
“Sure.”
Rick grins, moving out of sight from the archway leading to the living room. He pops the caps, sending them flying before digging around in the cookie jar he keeps on the counter. Under a stale sleeve of thin mints is a small baggie of pills he keeps around just in case the mood strikes. He slips one into a bottle of beer, carefully peeling the corner of the label as he swishes the bottle gently.
