Nineteen-year-old, cancer-stricken Lee Minho is well aware of the presence of his impending death. Exhausted by relentless treatments and facing another relapse, Minho contemplates giving up. His mother's unwavering hope clashed with his own yearning for a life (or lack thereof) beyond chemotherapy.
As a compromise, Minho reluctantly agrees to attend a summer program for chronically ill youth. It is there where he meets Han Jisung: an unusual "friend" whose terminal illness makes Minho rethink his outlook on life.
