Summary
A sharp burning pain was first sensation that brought Emily out of her sleep. This is all just a bad dream. It had to be. As lucidity slowly began to return however the hope in such a thing diminished. You could not have nightmares when you were in heaven. There was only one way that was possible...

Evil needed just punishment. Emily understood that, but redemption was now proven possible. So much suffering could be stopped by offering an outstretched hand in place of a sword. Those were their values.
So why was she banished for choosing to uphold them?
Betrayed, hurt, and at the mercy of hell itself, Emily must accept the turn her life has taken. Did demons truly deserve compassion? Could everyone find home in heaven? Did the Emily everyone know die the day heaven showed it's true colors?
At least she won't have to find the answer alone.
