Gabriel tries to recruit Adrien on his 18th birthday. This only severes the bond between the two. After one last night with Ladybug, Adrien leaves his ring and some assets behind with her to go into hiding. Little did he know, he left her with something else as well.
Two years later, he is independent and back in Paris, to take back what he left behind. However, Gabriel is still trying to control and get him back "under his thumb." Now he has to fight to win back everything he lost and end his father's reign of terror, but he is not alone.
