Mornings at the Juniberry were always quiet, and soft. The city was still slowly waking, students at the university snoozing their alarms, families in the kitchen making breakfast, and couples lazing around in bed. Someone was walking their dog as the fog began to lift, and another was trying their best to tie a tie before work.
All around the world was beginning to stir and millions of people turned towards some kind of caffeine to wake them up. Those in the charming college town of Altea inevitably would all end up at one special cafe though. Juniberry Coffee was the best in town, and one of the most peaceful thoughts to sit back and relax as the morning started. The peaceful air that settled throughout the hemisphere sunk into the cafe, turning the silence into a light blanket full of quiet possibility.
Well, until Lance clocked in.
