Alex puts his phone down on the coffee table and settles comfortably in Henry’s lap.
“Congratulations, baby,” he whispers more than says as he drops a kiss on Henry’s cheek and wraps his arms around his neck.
“Congratulations, love,” Henry says with a smile, tucking his curls behind his ears and leaning down to kiss his forehead. “I am so proud of you.”
“Thanks, baby, but I am even more proud of you. This is your 2nd fucking nomination.”
“Yes, and it's your first and you deserve it. And I know for sure you are going to win it,” Henry replies, with a peck on his lips.
“You are such a sap, oh my God.”
“Me? A sap?” Henry raises an eyebrow. “You say that when more than half the songs of your Grammy-nominated album are about me?”
“Yeah, well, no big deal, ‘cause 1 - I fucking love you and 2 - yours is about me as well.”
Henry’s eyes soften as he replies “It's always about you,” and seals it with another kiss.
“See? A giant sa-”
Henry shuts him up by pulling him into a kiss. They kiss as if they have all the time in the world because they do.

They are yet to tell the world but they are working on it. It has not been easy at all to keep it a secret, to hide it from the world, especially when both of them are singers; when they attend the same events every now and then. But they have done their best. They avoid each other as much as possible at these events because they know they can’t keep their hands off each other for more than five minutes. And they have been successful, no one except for their friends, family, and team members knows. Although a few fans do suspect it, but they have no concrete proof.
Recently, however, they have been planning to make an announcement, to tell it to the world. It is fun and precious, this relationship in secrecy, only theirs. But they are tired of hiding, they want to share each other’s wins out loud, share their happiness with the world. They want to name each other in their speeches, hold hands and walk around the city, dedicate songs to each other on tour… They want it all. Which is why they came up with a plan: They will start by dropping subtle hints, they will stop denying the rumors, and, if it all goes well, they will make a huge announcement later on.

“I was thinking…” Alex says a few seconds later after they pull back.
“I seriously doubt that.”
“Shut up, asshole,” he says, playfully slapping his shoulder. “I was thinking, this seems like a good time to start with our plan, don’t you think?” he says planting a quick peck on his cheek.
“Hm... It does seem that way, yes,” Henry replies with a wide grin as he leans down to kiss his nose.

They head back home in their separate cars (obviously). They are both aware of the storm that took off on the internet after their picture from the after party was posted. Its a giddy feeling, doing this little by little show of their relationship. It has just began but then can’t wait for this to get deeper. However right now, all they want is to reach home and be in each other’s arms.
As soon as they are out of their cars, Alex walks over to Henry, and Henry leans into him, wrapping an arm around Alex's shoulder. Alex places his hand on the small of Henry’s back, his Grammy in other. Its like they gravitate towards each other, neither of them can help it, its as easy and as natural as breathing to them — People around them (those who know about them) call them disgustingly cute, gone of each other, ask them to try and keep their hands off of each other knowing its impossible for them. Its not like they can’t do it, they can-when the need arises-but they don’t want to its as simple as that. And the thing about their touches is, while most people might consider them horny fools (which they are) its not just it, their touches are just as much innocent, full of love and affection. Both being popular singers, their schedules are packed with tours and events that often keep them apart for days on end and to add on it all, they have a secret relationship, even if around each other, they can’t do anything more than a formal handshake in the public eye — so yeah sue them for not waiting until they get in the house to be as close to each other as possible.
They enter their home together, tumbling, giggling, a little tipsy, and very much in love. The moment the door closes behind them Henry holds Alex’s free hand in his, and pulls him close, cupping his face with his free hand and leaning down for a soft kiss. He pulls back, just a little, just enough to be able to look into those brown eyes that he very much loves, their nose still brushing.
“Congratulations, love. I am so so so proud of you. I wish there was a way to tell you how goddamn proud of you I am,” he whispers, so quiet it's only audible to them, as if it's only meant for them. “I love you so much and I am so proud of you, I can’t stop saying that and I don’t want to,” he says again, eyes shining with tears.
Alex closes the mere inches distance and kisses him again, communicating everything he wants to say. His hands travel and wrap around Henry’s neck. They stay like that even after they pull apart, for few more minutes, hours even, noses brushing against each other, breathing in each other.
“I wanted to talk about you, fuck baby, when I was up there giving that speech …… All I wanted to do was talk about you, about the love of my fucking life, about the man who is literally the reason won it -” Henry opens his mouth to speak something but Alex gently places a finger on his lips, silencing him. “Sush, let me. I don’t think I would have written any of those songs if it weren’t for you, they are about YOU. Not just that, you have helped me, supported me, motivated me, help me get out of my head, I … It was killing me to not mention you, not even once. I am forever thankful to you, Hen. This would not have been possible without you”
Henry brings his hands to his lips and kisses them a few time “We will have it all, love, soon; be patient” he says with a smile.
Then, he tugs Alex’s hand and pulls him towards the shelf they have in front of their couch, “Now, Alexander, I think that empty space in our shelf is screaming for you to fill it with that award you’ve just won,” he says, placing his hand on his back and giving him a light push towards the shelf.
Alex places his Grammy next to Henry’s - the one he won last year for Artist of the year - and looks back at him, he can see love and pride reflected in Henry’s blue eyes. He steps closer and jumps onto Henry wrapping his legs around his waist and his arms around his neck. Henry lets out a little laugh and places his arms around Alex, with a tight grip.
“I love you” they both say at the same time and giggle.
“Now take me to bed, Fox. I am tired and sleepy” he says, nestling his head in the crook on Henry’s neck.
As they drift to sleep, Henry thinks of the next time either of them wins an award. They won't have to hold back from talking about each other. They'll be able to openly share their love with the world.
