Work Text:
“Alright everyone, tomorrow is the day! I know you’ve all been waiting! Make sure to remind your parents, and don’t forget to get that essay done by tonight. You’re all dismissed."
Kids were smiling, looking at each other in excitement, even Peter had a little quirk of the lips. “Peter! I can’t wait for May to tell that crazy story about the rush in 2012!”
“Ned, you’ve heard that a thousand times!” Peter laughed.
“Doesn't matter, your Aunt is so cool!”
Peter felt the tingle in his neck right before a paper ball hit the back of his head.
“He’s just trying to make you feel better cause your Aunt has a lame job” Flash exclaimed before coughing out “loser” as he left the classroom.
“Don’t listen to him Peter, he’s just jealous that none of his parents will be there.”
Peter frowned, “yeah, you’re right”.
MJ walked by them, “Hey, personally I’m also excited to listen to all the guardians on career day, you can really learn a lot.” MJ said, turned towards them, but walking backwards out of the classroom.
“Right well, I’ll see you tomorrow Ned, I’ve gotta go, Happy is waiting.”
“Bye Peter.”
With that, Peter hurried out of the classroom, not wanting to deal with an even grumpier Happy.
–
“Hey Happy!”
“Listen Kid, Tony’s been a little umm…weird today, so don’t be surprised if he sends you home early today.” Happy warned.
“What’s wrong?” Peter asked, concerned.
“Well you tell me, he’s not big on sharing stuff like that.” Happy then turned the divider up.
"Alright then.” Peter gruffed.
As Peter looked out the window, he saw a little boy holding hands with his father, walking down the street. A pang in his heart reminded him of his loss, he would never have that. Feeling heavy, Peter let his eyes close, the hum of the car lulled him to sleep.
–
“Boss, Mini you has arrived in the garage with Mr. Hogan.”
“FRIDAY dear, we talked about those impromptu nicknames of yours.” Tony gave a shake of the head, and made his way towards the garage.
As he stepped out of the elevator he saw Happy standing outside of the car, and looking conflicted.
“Great! Your problem now, I’m officially on lunch break.” Happy said, patting him on the shoulder and walking away.
“W-what? What problem grumpy man?” Tony half heartedly called after him.
Of course he didn’t get a response, so Tony approached the car. As he looked inside the car, he saw Peter asleep against the headrest. Wow, could the kid be any more adorable? Wait, adorable?
Tony shook his head, he was going soft for this kid. Carefully he opened the car door, not wanting to startle him. He gave himself a second to just look at Peter. He’d never before had thoughts of wanting children, but Peter had changed his perspective drastically in the last few months. But Tony wasn’t cut out to be a dad, and he knew that. Plus the only child Tony liked was Peter, no other kid is as important to Tony.
Tony reached out, the temptation too strong, secretly Tony was an affectionate man, but not many people got to see this side. He’d been taught by a young age that men weren’t supposed to show emotion. He placed his hand in Peter’s hair, pulling his fingers through a few times, his soft curls becoming disheveled.
Tony often got the urge around Peter to just let his guard down. But that would totally destroy his image, so that was a no go. Tony still wasn’t over with seeing Peter’s star struck expression each time they met, he couldn’t let Peter see how normal he is, not yet.
Tony gently placed his hand on Peter’s shoulder, giving it a gentle shake. “Hey kid, naptime is over.”
“Huh?” Peter sleepily muttered.
“I said it’s time to leave the car Pete” Tony couldn’t help but smile at Peter’s confused expression.
“What…Mr. Stark?” Peter looked at him.
“Yup, the one and only.”
“Oh! Yes of course, I didn’t mean to fall asleep” Peter sheepishly replied.
“Don’t sweat it, I guess you got to get sleep whenever you can right? Don’t think I didn’t see that the suit was active at two a.m last night kiddo.” Tony gave him a calculating look, making Peter feel like he was being scrutinized.
Wanting to avoid this conversation, Peter hurriedly grabbed his backpack and stepped out of the car, his feet wobbling a little from being tired.
“Slow down bolt.” Tony chuckled, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. “Let’s get some food in you kid, then we can get started in the lab.”
“Okay.” Peter smiled, content under Tony’s care.
–
“Tony..seriously. When will you stop feeding Peter so much pizza? He is a growing boy, he needs healthy nutritious food.” Pepper sighed as she looked at them occupying the sofa, whilst watching a tv-show.
“Pep, if the kid wants pizza, I’m getting him pizza.” Tony shrugged.
Peter looked on as he took another bite of the greasy monstrosity, interested in how this would play out.
“You know Tony, I’ve become quite good friends with May, do you think she would let you feed Peter like that?” Pepper asked, taking a seat beside Peter, him becoming squished in the middle between the adults.
“I don’t think she minds honey, at least I’m feeding him.” Tony looked at her guiltily.
Peter kept switching between who he was looking at.
“Okay Tony, I get how hard it is for you to resist.” Pepper laughed, as she looked at how they were seated. Peter pressed against Tony’s side. She could bet that Tony wasn’t even aware of how parental he was being towards Peter. Pepper was well aware of Tony’s whole avoidance of emotion, but Peter clearly had snuck past the barrier without notice.
“I don’t mind.” Peter smiled.
“Of course you don’t.” Tony gave him a little shove, but he was smiling.
“Well I’m going to be in the penthouse office, see you tonight honey.” Pepper gave Tony a kiss as she passed by.
Peter looked on and his heart warmed, he was glad Tony was happy. The warm mushy feeling in his chest reminded him of what it was like being part of a whole family, with a set of parents to look out for him. Maybe Peter’s dreams weren’t so far-fetched after all. He then decided on a whim to shove his head into Tony’s chest, before he even knew what he was doing, he had an arm thrown across Tony’s stomach and was getting comfortable.
“You good bud?” Tony asked, a little startled.
“Mhm.” Peter hummed, trying to bury his head closer.
“Alright then.” Tony huffed, but wrapped his arms around Peter. Getting a little tired himself, Tony let his head lean back on the couch, letting Peter settle, before hesitantly reaching a hand to Peter’s hair.
Peter didn’t say anything as Tony started playing with his hair, only leaning more towards him.
Tony smiled in amusement, feeling content with his kid safe in the penthouse. Wait..his kid? This was getting out of hand, he should stop.
Tony started to pull his hand away, but Peter whined in response.
“What was that bambino?” Tony chuckled.
“Don’t stop, May does this all the time, so she’s fine with it.” Peter defended, closing his eyes and relaxing as Tony continued.
“Anything you want cucciolo.” Tony whispered, knowing full and well that no sound was escaping the spider kid’s ears.
But Peter didn’t say anything, and Tony watched on as the kid’s breaths evened out.
—
Pepper was about to walk into the living room when her phone rang.
“Hey Pepper, so glad you picked up! Peter isn’t answering his phone. I had something important to tell him, do you think you could relay the message?”
“Oh yes of course! What is it?” Pepper curiously asked.
“Well I was supposed to come to the career day at Peter’s school tomorrow. Turns out Wendy is sick, and I’m the only one available to cover for her…so I can’t come.” May said distraught.
“Oh May, I’m sorry. Yes, I'll tell him. Hey, what if I got Tony to go instead? I’m sure he’s got nothing better to do, plus I’ve seen the way he acts, he could never resist doing that for Peter.” Pepper laughed.
"Oh, could he? That would be perfect Pepper, thank you so much!”
“No problem May, that’s what family does.” Pepper smiled.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you, honestly! I’ve got to go, but I’ll catch up with you later.”
“Have a good night May.” Pepper said before hanging up. Now it was time to relay the message.
–
Pepper couldn’t hold back her smile as she saw her fiance on the couch with Peter bundled in his arms. Feeling a little mischievous, Pepper took her phone back out to capture the moment in a photo. “Never will he live this down.” Pepper whispered to herself.
“Tony…honey.” Pepper whispered again, shaking Tony’s shoulder.
“What?” He groaned in response. Unconsciously rubbing Peter’s back.
“I’ve got to ask you something, and it’s important.”
“Yeah?” Tony whispered back.
“Can you go to career day with Peter tomorrow? May can’t make it.” Pepper sighed.
“Of course! Is that even a question?” Tony answered.
“Great! It’s getting late soon, so I thought I’d maybe make some pasta before going to bed. I’ll make some for you and Peter too.” Pepper said, stroking Tony’s arm, trying to wake him up a little.
“Wait, what time is it? We were supposed to go to the lab.”
“It’s almost nine honey.” Pepper chuckled. “Guess you’ll have to do it another day. Why don’t we just let Peter stay over tonight hmm? I think it would only make sense, then you can drive him to school since you’re coming with him anyways.” Pepper explained.
“I’m on board with that.” Tony tried to say nonchalantly. But in reality Pepper could see the smile in Tony’s eyes as he looked down at Peter.
“Well I’ll be in the kitchen, try waking him will you?” Pepper gave him a kiss on the forehead and walked away.
–
Peter woke up to the softest pillow ever, he tried to bury his head further in it, but met resistance in the form of vibrations. Which turned out to be Tony quietly laughing.
“You’re a pillow, pillows don’t talk.” Peter huffed, still working to get back into a comfortable sleep.
“Am I now? What happened to Mr. Iron man sir huh?” Tony jokingly wondered.
“Shhh, sleeping.” Peter mumbled.
“Alright sleeping beauty, time to get up, Pepper is making us food.”
“Food?” Peter perked up.
“Of course that gets you.” Tony rolled his eyes. “Yeah it’s almost nine, so you’re staying over tonight.” Tony smiled.
“Okay.” Peter smiled back, an almost butterfly-like feeling in his stomach. He felt so at home in the penthouse, safe in his dad’s arms. Wait dad?! No no no, no way. Peter you need to calm it. No way did he see Iron Man as his dad, that would be ridiculous.
“Peter?”
“Hmm?” he answered.
“I’ve got to tell you something. May can’t make it tomorrow.” Tony frowned, “I know how you were secretly excited for that, but if it makes it any better… I’ll be coming with you instead. Now I know I’m nowhere near as good as May, but I hope I can at least fill a little part of the shoes she fills. I’m sorry kiddo.” Tony apologized.
“I..that’s okay Mr. Stark, thank you so much! Ned’s going to freak out!” Peter laughed.
Tony gave a relieved sigh, he’s glad he is able to make his kid happy. There it is again, his kid? Really Tony?
Tony shook his head, but gave Peter a smile. “You got any homework that needs doing before tomorrow?” Tony asked.
“Oh shoot, the essay!” Peter exclaimed, defeatedly shoving his head back into Tony’s chest instead of face palming.
—
After a good late night dinner, and about an hour at the kitchen table working on the essay, with help from Tony of course, Peter made his way to the guest room.
“Now, me and Pepper are right across the hall kiddo. And if anything, and I mean anything is an issue, or you need something, you come to me ok? I don’t want you dealing with it alone, even spiders or monsters under the bed. You know what? I’ll just follow you in and have a look.” Tony was going full dad mode as Pepper lovingly had started calling it.
“Mr. Stark I’m fifteen not five!” Peter tried to tell him.
“Not enough reason for me to let you get eaten by scary bed monsters, or closet monsters.” Tony pretended to shudder.
“Fine.” Peter fake grumbled, he was kind of secretly happy that Tony was taking this role in his life, sometimes he missed having someone to baby him a little, now that May works so much. Since becoming a teenager Peter had been insisting to May that he was a big boy that can take care of himself, and he totally is! But sometimes it’s nice to let someone else take control.
Tony opened the door to the guest room, which suspiciously had a name plate that said Peter on it already. “Welcome to your room kid, FRI turn the lights on 40%.”
Peter looked around in awe, this was for him? The middle of the room had a queen sized bed, and a tv mounted on the wall across from it. There was a seating area with a couch, bean bags and a table, accompanied by a playstation 5. On the shelves were a ton of different lego sets with a star wars theme that Peter had been wanting for literal years. On the left side of the room were doors to a walk in closet, and his own private bathroom. Peter’s jaw was practically on the floor at this point.
“W-what?” Peter whispered, “Is it my birthday?” Peter asked in astonishment.
“Oh c’mon, this is the least I could do for you. You deserve it kid, you do your best everyday to take care of and protect everyone. Now it’s time to let me care for you a little.” Tony smiled at him.
“I don’t know what to say!” Peter was still in awe, not knowing what to do with himself.
“Well don’t just stand there, give me my goodnight hug.” Tony demanded, spreading his arms.
“I can do that.” Peter smiled, leaping forwards and hugging him tight. “Thank you so much Mr. Stark.” Peter said against him, speech muffled.
“Don’t mention it kid, now go brush your teeth and sleep well ok?”
“Ok, goodnight.” Peter gave one last smile before heading to the bathroom.
What would I do without you kid. Tony reflected as he left to go find Pepper.
–
When Pepper saw Tony enter the bedroom, she couldn’t resist giving a smile at the look on Tony’s face. Pepper knew that Tony had been struggling a little lately, she could see how much Peter meant to him, but Tony was afraid to take on an important and permanent role in the kid’s life.
She could see how Tony seemed lost in thought, but in a good way, Peter tended to have that effect on him.
“You ok?” She decided to gently ask.
“Never been better.” Tony smiled back as he climbed into his side of the bed. He turned to wrap an arm around Pepper. “I’m screwed though Pep, there is no way I’m leaving now.” He sighed.
“Well I see it as a good thing, maybe you finally become more responsible.” Pepper teased him.
“Shh, I’m sleeping.” Tony replied, hugging Pepper towards him.
“Goodnight hon.” Pepper smiled back.
–
“No Peter, we’re not leaving this penthouse until you have had at least three more bites!” Tony near demanded.
“But Mr. Stark, we’re gonna be late!” Peter tried to shout through a mouthful.
“Doesn't matter, I’m Tony Stark, I can do whatever I want.”
With that, Peter straight up rolled his eyes.
“Glad to see you’re getting house warm kid, but right now I need you to eat your food so we can get going.” Tony again reminded him.
“That’s what I’ve been trying to say!” Peter waved his arms to get his point across.
“Ew kid, don’t speak with food in your mouth.” Tony half joked.
“Whatever, If we’re late then it’s your fault, that’s all I’m saying.” Peter concluded while shoving one last bite in his mouth before speed walking to the elevator.
“Yeah yeah, blame it on me.” Tony muttered, turning around and joining Peter on his walk to the elevator.
“Kid, you didn’t even brush your teeth.” Tony fussed over him.
“Uh yeah I did, before breakfast!” Peter defended.
“That’s honestly worse, who does that?” Tony gave a mock horrified expression.
“Me!” Peter again defended.
“That was rhetorical, now get in the car.” Tony replied, getting behind the wheel.
Peter responded by again rolling his eyes.
“What, did you not get a good night's sleep?” Tony asked.
With that Peter jolted, “Of course I did! I love the room Mr. Stark.”
“Still Mr. Stark? When are you going to call me Tony?”
Peter stared at him, looking conflicted. “Umm..I don’t know.”
In reality Peter felt like saying Tony was a little wrong, there was a certain name for the man he didn’t feel brave enough to try out yet. At least not out loud.
“Alright, well strap in and let’s get this show on the road.” Tony started the car, and only started driving once Peter was wearing his seatbelt, man he really was going soft.
“Have you even thought about what to say yet? This was all kind of last minute, you really don’t have to do this Mr. Stark, not if you don’t want to.” Peter explained.
“Kid, I don’t do anything I don’t want to.”
And that was that, Tony Stark himself was going to Midtown for career day of all things.
–
“You got your backpack Roos?”
“Of course I do, why wouldn’t I have my backpack?” Peter retorted.
“Just checking.” Tony shrugged as he pulled into a parking spot.
They both got out of the car, Tony tugging the backpack from Peter so he could carry it for him. He really just couldn’t help himself.
“Really Mr. Stark?” Peter laughed.
Tony only shrugged in response, wrapping an arm around Peter’s shoulders where it seemed to settle often. “I only want the best for my kid.” The words were out before Tony could stop it, and he definitely was not going to panic, not at all. He sucked in a breath and owned it instead. He even surprised himself with how easy it was to just settle into this role, it even felt good.
“Oh um..thank you Mr. Stark.” Peter answered looking down and beet red.
They continued walking towards the school doors, the hall was empty seeing as they were a few minutes late. Peter dreaded walking into the classroom full of his classmates, whilst Tony Stark, his pseudo dad, had an arm around his shoulders as if it was the most natural thing.
“Keep your head up Pete, this is about to be good.” Tony chuckled, but Peter had heard that before and it was more of an evil laugh.
Without even knocking, Tony opened the door to the classroom. As expected everyone turned to look at them. The teacher looked startled, but tried to be professional.
“Good morning Peter, and uh..Mr. Stark, come on in! You can take a seat in the back with the Thompsons.
Peter could barely hold back his groan, at least Flash’s father had bothered to turn up today anyways.
One look at Flash and Peter had to hold back his grin, Flash was completely star struck and looking constipated at the same time. Almost like he was about to explode for two different reasons.
Not wanting to be directly next to Flash, Peter opted to sit on the edge next to Tony.
“Very well, welcome everyone, today as you all know is career day. You have all brought along a guardian or two to talk about their work. Now I want you all to take notes so you can ask questions at the end of the presentations. Being orally active will count for your grades in this subject. With that I welcome the Leeds to begin!” The teacher gave a big smile and clapped her hands before going over to the window sill where she would observe the presentations.
–
During the fourth presentation he felt a buzz in his pocket, and a tingle in his neck. He looked towards Flash who was sporting an evil look.
How much did you beg and pay to get him here huh? Read the text message sent from Flash.
How do you even have this number?? Peter replied.
No seriously penis, didn’t peg you for someone who would go this far for a pathetic little lie.
Instead of playing into Flash’s little game, Peter turned the phone off. He could see Flash getting more annoyed.
“Okay everyone, let’s get one more presentation before we take a break. How about Mr.Thompson?” The teacher asked.
“Of course, it would be my pleasure.” Mr.Thompson replied, being overly nice all of a sudden. Peter had seen him be rude most of the time.
“Eugene, why don’t you come be in charge of the slides.” Mr.Thompson ‘asked’. Flash nodded and walked alongside his dad.
“Now I would just like to state what an honor it is to present for Mr.Stark, my company is really working towards becoming as great as yours!”
What a suck up , Mr.Stark secretly thought to himself, but gave what was supposed to look like an approving nod towards Mr.Thompson.
“Now I, like Mr.Stark, am the owner of my own company, called Thompson manufactury. And It’s no secret that we’ve been on the rise lately.”
Mr.Thompson sent a look to Flash, gesturing with his hand for him to change to the next slide. “Now Flash here will obviously take over one day, so here he and all of you can learn what we really get done. If you take a look at this chart-”
Peter started tuning out whatever Mr.Thompson was saying. Not to be rude, but it was very difficult to keep paying attention to boring statistics. As Peter was looking out the window Tony gave his knee a nudge. Looking at Mr.Stark he saw how the man was trying to communicate with him solely through his eyes.
If Peter were to guess, he’d say the man was saying something along the lines of ‘how are you holding up?’. Peter gave Tony a smile, and nudged his knee back. A hand settled on Peter’s back, Tony giving a few gentle rubs before withdrawing.
The move didn’t go unnoticed by Flash looking at Peter from the front of the classroom. Peter could almost smell the jealousy burning Flash from the inside. Honestly Peter felt a little bad, he could understand how Flash would be upset. His father never gave him the attention and love he craved, so it was no wonder that Flash had to take it out somewhere. The unfortunate victim was Peter though.
“Yes I agree father. Personally though I think some of us students could use a little reminder sometimes, we’re not all made out to be the owner of a company. Some people just don’t have what it takes, a big factor could for example be lack of intelligence.” Flash responded to his father, while intensely staring at Peter.
Tony gave a little cough, but only to cover up the words ‘brat’. He’d noticed the one sided staring match between his kid and Eugene. Peter looked at him in alarm, trying to convey the message ‘stop’ with his wide open eyes.
“Well it’s time for a break now, thank you Mr.Thompson for the brilliant presentation of your company.” After the teacher had spoken, Ned came barreling over to Tony and Peter.
“Hi Mr.Iron Man sir!” Ned near shouted.
“Dude, my ears.” Peter exclaimed, covering them with his hands.
“Sorry Peter, it’s so awesome to meet you sir” Ned said to Tony a little quieter.
“The pleasure is mine, Ned.” Tony smiled.
“OMG, Iron Man knows my name!”
“Ned! ears!” Peter retorted.
“Sorry, sorry, umm..I’ll be over there eating lunch, do you want to join?” Ned asked.
“Yeah, sure.” Peter got up to follow Ned. As Peter looked behind him, he saw Tony getting to know Ned’s parents.
“Dude look! Iron Man is talking to my dad! They can be like dad pals now!” Ned seriously had no chill today, all loud words and no consideration of Peter’s embarrassment.
“Ned! Mr.Stark isn’t my dad.” Peter whisper-shouted in his ear.
“He totally is! Don’t even try denying it!” Ned replied.
“He’s right loser, I see the way you’ve got him wrapped around your little finger, good work honestly.” MJ said, always joining in the middle of conversations.
“Guys! Can you just calm down? You’re right, okay! Is that what you want to hear?” Peter let his head fall onto the table, grumbling about privacy.
“Yes.” Both Ned and MJ replied at the same time.
“I don’t even get where you guys are getting this from.” Peter whined, banging his head twice on the table for good measure.
“Well correct me if I’m wrong Ned, but Peter has called Mr.Stark for dad about nine times alone this week, right?” MJ ‘asked’.
“No, I’d say it’s at least ten.” Ned teased.
Peter jolted back up, “I have not done that!” he shrieked in response, but then he thought back and, “I have done that haven’t I?” Peter realized, becoming incredibly embarrassed. He would subconsciously call Mr.Stark for dad all the time, and recently he guessed he’d been saying it out loud by accident.
“Oh would you look at that, break time is almost over, so I’m gonna head to the bathroom!” Peter bolted out of his seat before his friends could get another word in.
He was almost running down the halls by the time he reached the restroom. Peter went inside, and peeked out the door to see that no one had followed him. When he turned around however, he was met with an angry looking Flash Thompson.
“Oh is Petey scared? Where is daddy Stark when you need him huh?” Flash started walking towards him at a slow pace.
“I don’t know how you did this Parker, but my dad will make sure that Iron Man will never want to look at you again. After that I will replace you.” Flash nearly spat on his face. For good measure Flash gave him a shove against the wall before walking out.
“How are you Peter, I’m so happy for you Peter.” Peter imitated after Flash walked out. “Douchebag” He muttered in the end before entering a stall.
–
“How dare you speak about my kid like that!”
Peter could recognize Tony’s voice from a mile away. Upon entering the commotion in the classroom, Peter could see Mr.Thompson thinking about his next move.
“Let’s leave Eugene, I have a business meeting soon.” Mr.Thompson ended it with.
“Bu-But dad! Peter dosen’t deserve an internship, I do!” Flash demanded.
“Eugene that is enough! Stop your whining and go to the car!” Mr.Thompson pointed at the door, looking a little embarrassed.
“Screw you Parker!” Flash spat at Peter’s feet as he quickly walked by to leave the room.
“I apologize for the behavior.” Mr.Thompson said before leaving with Flash.
“I see where he gets it from.” Tony openly replied after he’d left.
The classroom was silent, everyone left stunned after witnessing how Tony Stark had defended a highschooler. It didn’t last long before Tony couldn’t take it and broke the awkward silence, “So what are we waiting for? Who's next?” Tony looked at the teacher questioningly.
"It's you sir.” She so helpingly provided.
“Is that so? well then everyone take a seat!” Tony pointed at Peter, “except for you, I need you for demonstration.” Tony grinned, while Peter looked a little scared.
“Don’t worry kid.” Tony winked.
“Everyone, this is my brilliant and amazing, one of a kind intern. He’s not for grabs just so that’s said. Obviously you all know who I am, so we can just skip that part.” Tony gave another grin, but towards the crows of parents and students.
“Today Peter will help me demonstrate a new technology that he has helped develop, isn’t that right Pete?” Tony smiled at him, a real smile.
“Uh yeah. It’s for the medical field.” Peter explained.
“Wonderful Peter over here, had the great idea of making an easily accessible nanotech analyzer. This little ball right here will stretch across your body and quickly analyze the human’s condition, also it will send the data to the hospital, it also provides identity with it, so the data doesn't get mixed up.”
Tony placed the ball in Peter’s hand, telling him to press the button. “Now as you can see, it doesn't cover the body completely, it travels across and forms back into a ball in your hand once the data is collected.” Tony gave Peter a little nod, indicating that he further explains it.
“This will make identifying patients who have been hurt badly enough that they are hard to recognize a lot easier. It also is a lot faster than using a lot of different tools for collecting the same data.” Peter showed the ball already being back in his hand with the collected data, after having traveled across his body.
“Now if you press this little button on the side,” Tony showed the audience, “A hologram will appear like a screen so the crew in the ambulance can read it.”
“As you can see, Peter here is perfectly healthy, except that your blood sugar is lower than normal. We’ll get you something to eat soon.” Tony reassured.
Peter went a little red at Tony’s mother henning, but still smiled a little sheepish in return.
“Well of course I could go on and on about how smart Peter is, but I don’t wanna inflate his ego too much.” Tony joked, earning a few chuckles from the students.
“Stark industries is all about new inventions that can help save lives, or make certain things more convenient. We work a lot with developing accessible clean energy so that we can better take care of our beloved planet.” Tony informed.
“Some people going a little far to protect it.” Peter intercepted, making everyone laugh.
“Well I’m not the only one, kid.” Tony winked.
“Well thank you so much for the demonstration and helpful information Mr.Stark, but we must move on to the next guardian.” The teacher interrupted, and some of the students got visibly disappointed.
“Thank you for having me.” Tony replied, placing his hand on Peter’s neck, guiding them back to their seats.
“Hey, good work Pete.” Tony whispered.
“Says you? You were awesome, thank you so much for being here today.” Peter leaned a little towards Tony.
“I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else kiddo.”
“You’re a good dad.” Peter smiled, before turning to look towards the next presentation.
