Fast food was a frustrating job, Hunter decided.
He liked having the spare cash to go to the mall and whatnot with the others- That's why all of them had picked up jobs, after all. They wanted to be able to have pocket cash and not have Camila pressure herself to work even harder for their sake. So, they'd gotten jobs, which was generally not that big of a deal.
Except for when it was.
Hunter got frustrated as another shitty customer drove through the drive-thru so, as they were driving to the window after his, he opened the cash register a bit too aggressively and the whole thing began to fall out.
He managed to catch it, but cut one of his hands pretty badly. He didn't pay that too much mind, though, as he kept his focus on getting the register back into its place and picking up and returning the dropped change before the next person came forward to pay.
He was careful not to get blood on that person's receipt.
Once that person was through, he looked up at the monitor and saw that there wasn't anyone else coming through the drive-thru yet, so he took that opportunity to walk the couple feet away into the shift manager's office (which didn't have a door since people had to be in and out of there constantly) and began searching for bandages.
He eventually found them and had to place a couple bigger ones over the side of his hand to accommodate the damage.
He wasn't sure whether to blame himself for getting so frustrated or the company for not having that thing bolted down.
