“Hey god’s little apprentice. I need you to get home ASAP,” Claire whispered yelled, her hands clasped together. She looked terribly cute as she prayed.
A second later, A young boy with blond hair who looked awfully similar to Castiel and Dean appeared out of thin air. “I missed you, Claire,” The boy voiced, his voice seemed childish and soft.
Claire’s gaze softened. “I missed you too little man.” The boy smiled and broke away from the hug. “So what’s going on? Are dads okay?”
Claire shook her head. “Jack, kid You know about Sam right? He’s here.” Jack frowned. “What? Isn’t he dead?”
Claire sighed. “Unfortunately no. He’s still alive and appeared out of nowhere. Dad’s pretty shaken up from the encounter. I need you to help me keep Dad happy. I know Papa can handle Dad but it’s our duty too you know?”
Jack nodded and closed his eyes. “Sure. Dad is ‘relaxing’ right now with Papa. I don’t know why he screams like that.” He added a second later with disgust laced in his voice.
Claire scrunched her nose. “Eugh! They’re like rabbits.” Jack tilted his head, unable to understand his sister’s words.
Claire chuckled at his innocent face. “It’s nothing.” Jack looked at his sister. “Should we try to reconcile them?”
Claire shook her head. “He’s a prissy bastard. Do you know he lied to his wife about dad? He made up so much crap about him. It made me want to shoot him.”
Jack seemed angry. “What did he say? Tell me. If he made dad sad I’ll make him suffer.” Claire smirked. “That’s my baby brother.”
“What are my little devils planning?” A gruff voice is heard. Jack and Claire jump, startled by the sudden voice.
“Haha nothing papa,” Claire nervously chuckled.
“Are you sure baby?” Castiel’s gravelly voice is heard once again. Claire shook her head, smiling widely.
“Huh.” Castiel stepped into the room and closed the door behind him. “Jackie sweetheart what about you?” He asked.
Jack stared at his father who looked a bit sad and melted. He looked down at his feet and mumbled. “Papa… we were planning to make Sam suffer.”
Castiel chuckled. “Ah my kids, if Dean found out about this he would eviscerate us.”
Claire huffed a laugh. “Papa he won’t know if you follow my plan.”
Castiel raised a brow. “Go on.”
Claire smiled. “Okay so, they booked a room for an entire week, right? You can work on seducing Dad and keeping his mind off things while we just annoy Sam by doing tiny little things that ick him. We’ll have Auntie Charlie, row, Uncle Benny, and Crowley in on it. They all know about Sam so they’ll want to be in on this. We’ll make Sam realize that our Dad is better off living without John or him and that he has a real family now.”
Castiel’s face broke into a big smile. “Oh kids, c’mere. Thank you for making your dad feel wanted. He’ll be happy if he knew what you were planning.”
Claire and Jack hugged Castiel. “Papa but please don’t tell Dad. He would be all sad again.” Castiel had a mischievous look in his eyes as he nodded.
Unbeknownst to his kids, Dean was standing outside the door, listening in on their conversation, His eyes filled with tears. Castiel left the kids and exited the room, embracing Dean in a hug.
Suddenly the scenery changed. Castiel kissed the top of Dean’s head. He broke away from the hug and gently held Dean’s face. Castiel inched closer and kissed away his tears. “It’s okay.” Tears started flowing down his face and he began to sob. Dean felt loved. “Cas-“ he cried out, taking big gasps of air. “I-I I never knew I was- so loved,” He quivered, his voice seemed so heartbroken. “My babies- they’ve grown,” He sniffled.
Castiel settled Dean on his lap, making him face him. “You are loved, Dean Winchester. Sam doesn’t deserve you nor is he worthy of your love.” He took deep gasping breaths as he burrowed his face into Castiel’s chest.
Castiel kissed the top of his head and tightly embraced him in his arms again. “If you don’t want them here De, we can ask them to move out. You needn’t worry.”
Dean shook his head. “I need to get over him and the ideal version of him that I created in my mind,” He spoke in a raspy voice. Castiel kissed his lips. “Whatever decision you make, I’ll support you.”
Dean gave him a gummy smile. “Thank you cas for everything. For being in my life.”
Castiel huffed. “You… stop saying thank you all the time de. I’m the one that’s thankful for you. In fact, why don’t you let me show you how thankful I am.” Castiel added suggestively. Dean let out a short laugh and smashed his lips against Castiel’s, making them fall on the bed.
“You horn dog!” Dean yelled five minutes later, tired of Castiel’s lasciviousness. Castiel chuckled and continued his assault on his husband’s body.
On the other hand, Sam is in his room, nervously striding around the room.
Jessica was talking on the phone with her friend, completely ignoring Sam. “Yeah, we’re staying at the B&B that’s close to your place.” “Yeah, I met the owners, Dean and Castiel.” “Wait- no way! What? I’ll come downstairs.” Jessica got up and was about to walk out of the door when Sam stopped her with his arm. “Where are you going?”
“My friend Charlie is Dean’s adopted little sister. She lives here so I’m going downstairs.” Jessica replied while frowning. She shrugged off his arm and walked out of the door. Sam raised his brow, contemplating something, and a second later followed after his wife. He walked downstairs in the private quarters and saw an unseemly sight. His brother cuddled up to the mobster guy, Claire his niece was sitting next to a young blonde kid, and a few scary people were seated in the living room.
Jessica ran up to a redhead, squealing as they hugged each other. The redhead, Sam was familiar with, Charlie, his wife’s online best friend. What a strange coincidence, that his wife indirectly knew Dean and his newfound family and even got to meet him.
He scoffed inwardly. He dragged his feet towards the people, announcing his presence. He could notice everyone’s face fell as he entered. “I’m sorry to intrude but I was curious about my wife’s online best friend,” He spoke nonchalantly.
Charlie scoffed. “Your apology isn’t accepted. I thought you were a great man as I heard about you from Jessica but now I know your true colors.”
Sam inhaled a deep breath. “I don’t get how I’m the bad guy in this situation. Sure I left Dean with Dad but I had to think about myself and my future, not Dean’s.” Castiel was glaring holes into his body.
“The fucking audacity-” A short man with a British accent cursed. “Do you even know the lengths your brother went to keep you safe and have a hunt-free life you bumbling nitwit!”
Sam let out a laugh. “And? I didn’t ask for him to do that now did I?”
A man with a beard wearing a cap looked at Dean. “Brother he’s Sam?” He asked. Dean nodded. He snorted. “I was expecting more from the infamous Dean Winchester’s brother.”
Sam chuckled. “Following after Dad’s footsteps Dean?” The kids burst out laughing.
“Comparing Dad to John? You must be joking.” Sam frowned. “What do you mean?” Claire snorted. “Buddy you should know when to shut up.”
“Okay, so I’m clearly not getting the memo,” Sam muttered. “What have I fucking done wrong?” He exclaimed.
Dean let out a snort-like laugh. “Nothing Mr. Winchester. You haven’t done anything wrong.”
Castiel caressed Dean’s hair. His piercing blue eyes seemed to stare into Sam’s soul. “I would like to ask you to leave my private quarters along with your wife. Enough nuisance has been created by you today,” He asserted in his low gravelly voice.
Sam huffed. “It’s not like I was going to stay here any longer. I can’t stand the disrespect I’ve been given by my own flesh and blood.” He mumbled. He grabbed Jessica’s wrist and pulled her out of the room. Jessica glared at him, yanking her hand away from Sam. “I don’t know what’s gotten into you Sam. But it isn’t funny.”
Sam looked dumbfounded as Jessica stormed off. He didn’t get why he was the bad guy in Dean’s story. He never asked for anything. He had his doubts about Dean. What did Dean do to keep him safe? He scoffed. Sure he was hunt-less for the entirety of his life but it was on his own accord.
