Chapter Text
All it took was one signature. Who would have known it would have been selling his soul to the devil himself? He couldn't even think about his life before the nest other than what Riko made sure to remind him of every chance he got. It wasn't easy to deal with but he had made the choice to focus Riko's attention on himself when he helped Jean and Kevin slip from the Nest. The two were outside of Riko's reach with the Foxes and that was all that mattered.
His thoughts cut off when another figure slipped into the reflection, an arm snaking around his waist that caused a shiver to run down his spine. He knew Riko felt it, and he knew he would deal with those consequences later.
"Are you ready for the banquet Andrew?" Riko's voice was a warm breath against his ear, but he refused to let himself flinch this time as he fixed the all black outfit he wore and the red arm bands that covered his wrists.
"Yes King. I am ready for the banquet. I'm ready to sit there at your side where the others refused to sit." Andrew ripped his gaze from the reflection that showed the black four under his left eye as he turned to look at Riko. He reached up to fix Riko's collar which earned him a wicked smile from the other male.
"Good boy Andrew. At least one of you knows when to bow down." Riko leaned down and placed a gentle, yet dangerous, kiss to the tattoo that marked Riko’s property. “Definitely not the pet I expected to bow down to me, but such a good pet nonetheless. Now let’s go.”
Andrew bit his tongue as he felt Riko’s hand go around his waist again, starting to lead Andrew out of the bathroom and out to where the banquet was to be held. While the other Raven’s focused on getting to their seats and being the scary dogs that they believed they were, Andrew looked around at the table markers for where the other teams were supposed to sit. He started to get a bit stressed when the more tables they passed, the closer he realized that the Ravens were to the Foxes. It hit him the hardest when they got to their table and his eyes narrowed onto the other table marker, the words burning into his mind and causing him to hold his breath for a second. He didn’t have enough time to react as Riko sat on his seat, pulling Andrew down to sit on the chair at his side, pulling the chair closer to his own.
“Looks like the lost birdies are going to be joining us today. How exciting is that?” Riko’s hand rested on Andrew’s mid back, the other resting on his thigh as he gave it a hard squeeze when Andrew didn’t respond fast enough. “Don’t you agree that it will be exciting to see Kevin and Jean? Maybe they will realize the mistake they made leaving for the worst team in the NCAA.”
Andrew finally tore his gaze from the table marker to look at Riko, his eyes holding a bored expression as always. “That would involve them being smart enough to do that, wouldn’t it?” He wasn't a fan of talking about the two of them like that, having promised the two he would protect them from Riko. He could only take the punishments for so long before he had to start feeding lies to Riko so that he would get a break from it himself.
It must have been the right thing to say, because Riko let out a laugh and rubbed his thumb along Andrew’s spine. “That is true. And lost sheep require a herding dog to bring them back to their shepherd. Maybe you will be a good dog and show them the way back.”
Andrew looked at Riko with a blank expression about to respond before the other teams started arriving, catching Andrew’s attention. His gaze moved away from Riko, still able to see that Riko’s gaze was still on him as he glanced around the room to the other teams, his gaze finally landing on familiar faces. His stomach twisting as he watched Riko’s gaze move to look at them as well, a wicked smirk crossing his face as the Foxes realized they were going to be at the table with the Ravens.
Kevin and Jean were the first to take their seats, then the rest of Foxes. Even though Andrew wanted his gaze to stay on Kevin and Jean, they ended up meeting hazel eyes that were on a face matching his own. He moved his gaze quickly away from Aaron, avoiding looking at Nicky at all before they landed on Neil Josten. Though with the research Andrew was forced to sit through with Riko after the Kathy show, he knew that was just an alias. Nathaniel Wesninski, son of the Butcher, and supposed to be property of the Moriyama’s. Riko had already told Andrew how much he would like to tear the three Foxes apart for evading him and making him look bad and so had the Master anytime they were being punished.
“Kevin! Jean! It’s been a bit since we last saw you. Andrew has missed you so much, but don’t worry. I’ve been keeping him company. Isn’t that right Andrew?” Riko’s gaze met Andrew’s almost instantly as the pit formed in Andrew’s stomach. A guilt tactic, typical of a bastard like Riko to make the other two feel bad that Andrew has to be the one to deal with everything. Hell if Andrew would let Riko win that game however.
“Oh Riko. You make that sound like such a harsh thing, but I think of it as now I don’t have to worry about your attention being elsewhere.” Andrew wanted to gag, the lies burning at the back of his throat, but it was worth it to see the look of surprise on Riko’s face. Of course Andrew didn’t miss the surprised looks from Kevin and Jean, as well as the other Raven’s, which made it partially worth saying.
“Well Andrew. I didn’t know you wanted my attention that badly.” Riko moved his hand from Andrew’s midback to Andrew’s neck to pull Andrew’s head towards him so he could say the next words in his ear. “All you would have had to say was ‘please’ and I would have been all yours.”
Andrew let a small, fake smile cross his face as his own hand dug into his wristband to keep him from saying anything, or from punching the older male, his next words spoken through clenched teeth. “Well now I know for next time, don’t I?”
Riko gave Andrew a smile back before looking back at a very stressed out Kevin and nervous Jean. Andrew was able to pick up on Riko’s gaze going to Neil as he felt Riko’s grip tighten on his own neck. “Now. What was your name again? Chris? Stefan? Alex? No wait. I can remember it.”
Andrew saw the tension in Neil’s whole body as the names were said out loud. “Neil actually. But thanks for trying to remember my name.”
Andrew flinched at Riko’s nails digging into his neck. He knew if this went on much longer, he’d have to deal with the consequences and that he was going to be sore the next day. It was the curse he put himself through to insure that Kevin and Jean were protected. He didn’t care how much he would have to suffer, but Neil was going to get him killed with all the attitude he threw Riko’s way.
