Summary
It’s nearly 4 am when Alex buzzes his and Henry’s apartment, keys in the pocket of his jacket he had long forgotten in the apartment he left in a rush, tears clouding his vision. How he let things get this bad is beyond him; yet now standing on Henry’s doorstep, his entire body aching, arms bleeding, a disgusting feeling stuck to him that he won’t be able to wash off no matter how much he tries, lip busted; the sound of the door opening soothes it all. Henry is the balm to scars he didn’t even cause.
Next thing he knows, Alex is leaning on Henry’s door for support, the memory of how he made the trip two stories up completely lost on him.
“Who did this to you?”
“Please…” is all Alex can get out before strong arms wrap around him, pulling him inside.
