Professionally Greg Lestrade was doing well.
His personal life, however, left much to be desired.
His wife’s infidelity and the subsequent divorce had been hard.
In the year since he was finally beginning to feel better.
Greg Lestrade strode in knowing what he wanted.
At least he thought he knew what he wanted.
He scratched his head, literally, when he saw the array of boxes before him.
Blimey! Has it really been so long since then?
He did not remember there being such a variety when he last did this.
Yes, the classic choices he knew of were among them, but there was so much more now.
The myriad choices in colors alone boggled him.
He picked a smaller box that got his attention.
Cherry flavor?! Well, that could be interesting, I suppose…
No, you a grown man, standing here gawking like this IS embarrassing.
“Can I help you, sir?” The woman behind the counter pharmacy smiled pleasantly.
After a year of celibacy, Greg was ready to date again, which meant getting things not needed in over a decade.
You’re getting back in the saddle, you need equipment.
He picked up one of the small gold foil packs and showed it to the woman.
“Yes, I see you have the smaller packs. Do you carry Magnums in the 36-count box?”
