Chapter Text

Lucifer had been looking for Charlie. After rebuilding the hotel they had been hanging out with each other more then they ever had before and now Lucifer had a new plan of something to do with Charlie.

The only issues was that he couldn't find her. No matter where he looked she just wasn't there. He was actually getting somewhat worried now, it wasn't like her to up and disappear.

He pushed open the library door and walked in moving quite fast so as to find his daughter faster. His looking was interrupted when he came across the last person he wanted to see right now.

Alastor was reading a book with a french title Lucifer couldn't be bothered to read at the moment. In fact he was far more focused on something entirely different on said mans face.

The radio demon was wearing glasses.

They were round, thin framed and had little chains coming of of the sides and round his neck. This chains had little trinkets hanging from them at varying lengths. From what Lucifer could see some of the trinkets related to a person at the hotel. A bone for Alastor, A green shard of glass probably from a broken bottle of booze for Husk, For Niffty there was a needle, for Sir Pentious who had apparently gone to heaven after the final battle there was a small white plastic egg and even Vaggie and Angel had something related to them on it. For vaggie there was a small red ribbon bow and Angel's was a small white spider with little pink legs.

What shocked Lucifer even more was the small yellow duck that also hung from his glasses chain.

Did Alastor actually care about the hotel residents? Well obviously he did because he fought to protect the hotel. To protect his daughter but did he really care for all of them that much?

Anyway it didn't matter now, Alastor may know where his daughter is so he should go speak to him.

"Hey deer man-" Lucifer watches as the man immediately makes the glasses disappear and then act as if he didn't just have a semi panic about his glasses "Aww why put them away huh" Lucifer laughed out.

"What do you want" He snarled at Lucifer.
"Im looking for Charlie but no i had to run into you" Lucifer crossed his arms and glared at Alastor.
"I would have expected the king of hell to at least try and know more about what his daughter would be doing each day" Alastor put his book back into the shelf and grinned down at Lucifer.
"What are you implying?" Lucifer questioned already wanting to punch the radio demon.

"Well Sire, Charlie is out today on a date with Vaggie. I would have thought you out of all people at this hotel would know that" Alastor seemed to find joy in the anger he made Lucifer feel.
"Right. Well ill be going then" Lucifer said walking away only looking back once to see the radio demon looking at the little trinkets on his glasses.

Chapter Text

Lucifer had seen Alastor tense far too many times for him to just stand by and do nothing anymore. It wasn’t that he was staring to like the man or something because the wasn’t. Nope. Definitely not.

Anyway the angelic energy coming of the man was reason enough for him to worry. He was now quite sure Alastor didn’t run from the battle but was hurt and if he was hurt by Adam that wound wouldn’t just heal on its own. Lucifer made sure to check the library on his way to Alastor’s room just in case the man was reading in there again but he wasn’t so lucifer continued his journey up to the man’s room.

Lucifer, completely forgetting the rule of knocking, opened the door and walked in. Alastor was in the room but he was slumped over slightly in his chair with his coat and shirt off showing Lucifer a perfect view of the large angelic wound scratching down from his left shoulder to the lower right side of his body. It looked red and angry. Silently lucifer wondered how the man was still walking after all this time.

“You won’t be able to heal that” Lucifer remarked making the radio demon look up. He looked angry at first but Lucifer was sure that under that protective layer there was worry. Worry for what Lucifer would do to him in his weakened state.

“Fuck off” He chocked out glaring at Lucifer.
“No your hurt” Lucifer crosses his arms walking closer to the man who sat up as much as he could in his chair. He was all tense still expecting Lucifer to do something bad.

“I’m fine” He moved his arms defensively over his chest as if they would cover such a large wound. This movement made Lucifer pause. Alastor’s arms were covered in scars and he was pretty sure the only thing that could make a scar on a sinner’s body in hell was an angelic weapon so they must have come from the mans life. The closer he looked the more he could make out that they were a mix of cuts but mostly bite marks. Something had bitten into the man and ripped at his skin.

“No you’re not. You’re bleeding and by the way it’s an angelic wound. You can’t heal that” Lucifer walked closer as slowly as he could “I can though. If you’d let me” It was a pretty simple trick but giving him options might just help.

“What do you want” He glared. It took lucifer a little to figure out Alastor assumed this was some kind of contract or deal.
“I don’t want anything out of it. I heal you and that’s it. Nothing else”

“Fine” He grumbles out after a long minute and moves his arms away from the large wound. Lucifer moves closer before kneeling down before the deer to inspect his wound properly.
“This may hurt so erm- just be ready yeah?” Alastor nods and looks away letting lucifer put his hand on the man’s wound and start the healing.

Alastor still stayed smiling but it looked more like a grimace the longer it took.
“So erm how did you get all those scars” Lucifer said trying to fill the awkward silence. The radio static picked up in a sharp high pitched tone before falling again.
“I don’t see why that’s your business” He growled out.

“Fare enough” Luicfer focused back onto healing Alastor. It was almost done so that was good.
As soon as the wound was properly healed Lucifer retracted his hands and moved away from Alastor.

Just when he was leaving he heard the unmistakable words.

“Thank you”

Chapter Text

When Lucifer woke up he was confused. This wasn't his room, this wasn't his bed but he was in both of them for some odd reason.
He pondered on where he was before remembering where he had been and there for where he was now.

Alastor's room.

Looking downwards he was still in his clothing from yesterday when he and Alastor had been talking about the boundaries of there new relationship, then he looked to his right to read the time on the large clock that stood large and elegant in his room.

It showed six in the morning.

Lucifer may be the king of hell but normally he woke up around seven with the rest of the residents and went downstairs to eat breakfast which now that he thought about it Alastor made every day.

Alastor was probably in the bathroom getting ready for the day which Lucifer was able to confirm by the missing suit that had been placed on Alastor's dressing table the night before. As Alastor was getting ready in the bathroom Lucifer decided to have a look round the mans room.

The bed he was on looked like the normal ones residents got in there rooms, Bones hung on the walls but by far the most interesting part in here was the bayou that glowed blue and green. It was incredibly beautiful and small glowing yellow bugs flew around never leaving it. As Lucifer moved closer he was sure he could see various animals farther back eating or running around.

"Like what you see?" Alastor said completely missing what the phrase is normally used for. Lucifer spins round about to say something when his voice leaves him.
"I can show you around it if you want but later" Alastor stands there fully dressed his smile still bright on his face but something is different. Not in a bad way either. No, in a very very good way.

Alastor's hair is curly and looks beautiful, ethereal even, it curls around his face where there is lots of cute little white freckles that remind Lucifer of the ones found on a fawn. Oh that's a cool nickname- wait not relevant.

"Lucifer are you ok?" Alastor asked more confused then worried. Carefully he moves closer to the king of hell and tilts his head up with a hand.
"I- Your very pretty" Lucifer says before even thinking about his words.
"Haha, that's sweet of you my king but what caused you to say such things so randomly" Alastor laughs out as Lucifer goes bright red.

"You erm" Lucifer cant think of the right words so just points at Alastor's head hoping he gets what he cant say. Alastor just blinks and moves from Lucifer to look into the mirror of his dressing table.

"Oh my features! Thats whats got you in a tizzy. All red and flustered because of my head?" Fuck Lucifer wished Alastor would stop saying things that sounded so unintentionally dirty. Was the sinner always like this or was it new?
"Darlin'?" Alastor said his radio voice now gone letting his real new Orleans accent out.

"Yeah, what?" Lucifer blinks as Alastor drags him to the bed and sits him down.
"Is your brain burning in that little noggin of yours?" He knocks gently against Lucifer's head curing a bit of blond hair behind his ear as he took away his hand.

"No my brain is fine... I think. Anyway bigger thing is when did you get curly hair and freckles?" Lucifer used both hands to gesture at Alastor's face both of which were put back into his own lap by the radio demon.

"Well ive always had the curls" Alastor puts a strand between his fingers and pulls it straight before letting go "Now these are a bit different" He then points at his cheeks and bridge of the nose.

"How are they different?" Lucifer questioned looking at Alastor with wide admiring eyes.
"Well i did have freckles in my life but they were barely noticeable where as when i died it seemed to change them into these little white ones"

"Why have we never seen you like this before?" He kept the fact he thought Alastor looked so freaking adorable like this- Oh maybe that was why.
"Yeah this is not the most threatening looking body to have. Straightening my curls isn't anything new, i do come from the early 1900 after all"

Right. Lucifer had kinda forgotten about the raging racism happening in those times. He was glad all those assholes had come to hell and died as soon as the exterminations came round. They were weak as fuck and were way to self-absorbed to even consider there not all that.

"Well i think your gorgeous" Lucifer places a gentle kiss on Alastor's nose "Nothing with convince me otherwise"

Chapter Text

Lucifer was exited. Tonight would be the first night he and Alastor would sleep in bed together. Not just him falling asleep on Alastor's room and the man putting him into his bed and refusing to sleep but actually sleeping together. Alastor had even said yes to cuddling as long as he got to control when it was and how could Lucifer say no to that.

He had put on his duck print pyjamas and was now sitting in him bed waiting for Alastor to come out of his bathroom where he requested to change. If Alastor wasn't comfortable with showing his body yet Lucifer was not going to force him to.

At some point Lucifer had also made a small pouch of nail polish appear and put putting on some black shiny polish, letting it dry and then putting on a glitter to make it all sparkly. He was just using his power's to dry them when heard a door open and small clacking sounds like hooves on the floor.

Assuming it was Charlie he didn't lift up his head when he spoke.
"Hey Char Char, do you need something" He gave a quick blow to his nails before tapping the last one he painted to see if it was dry.
"Close, try again" Lucifer's head wiped up when he heard Alastor's voice. The man was leaning on the wall near the bathroom doorway looking rather smugly at Lucifer.

"Ah sorry Alastor. I thought i heard hooves and-" Lucifer pauses when he sees Alastor's feet or more correctly deer hooves.
Alastor had hooves.

"Do they make you... uncomfortable? I can put on socks if that makes you more comfortable" Lucifer moved over to Alastor and held his hand, gently rubbing the palm with his fingers.
"If it did that would be very hypocritical of me as i have them to" Lucifer slipped off his duck slippers and showed Alastor the little goat hooves he had.

Alastor looked at them, blinked then looked back up at Lucifer.
"What were you doing?" He asked eyes moving to the kings hands.
"Painting my nails. Hey Alastor~" Lucifer gets a mischievous look in his eyes.

"What is it darlin'" Alastor said somehow already regretting asking.
"Would you perhaps be willing to let me paint those. You can pick the colour of course" Lucifer points at the deer hooves before a rather long silence make him feel like he pushed some boundary Alastor hadn't informed him of.

"Fine" He sighs out sitting down on the bed and passing Lucifer a dark green bottle of nail polish "This will do"

Chapter Text

Both Lucifer and Alastor were in there now shared bedroom. This new conversation had began when Lucifer chocked on air and shifted between different forms.

"So what exactly can you shift into?" Alastor asked looking down at Lucifer.
"Erm a lot of things, i haven't found something i can't shift into yet" He answered rather proudly.
"Is it just live things or can you do objects as well" Alastor did little finger quotes on the word live because during the kings little coughing fit he turned into a very blond Alastor and technically Alastor was not living.

"Objects is a no. Not sure why but you know" He shrugged looking down at realizing he was picking at the nail polish instead of the skin around his nails.
"So whats your favorite things to turn into?" Lucifer had to consider that for a bit as there was an lot of things he could be.

"You know there are a few body's i like. Here ill show you them" Lucifer moves from the side of the bed more into the middle before turning into a white duck with little red cheeks.
"A duck. Really" Alastor's smile turns more sweet and loving then the one that noramlly frames his face.
"Whatttt ducks are cool" Lucifer flaps his wings slightly before turning into a little white snake and flicking his small tongue at Alastor.

Alastor slowly reaches out his hand to give the snake version of Lucifer head pats making sure not to hurt the man with his sharp claws.
"What else can you turn into then darlin'?" He retracts his hand and watches as Lucifer's body shifts into something a bit bigger and more human then a duck or a snake.

Lucifer turns into a female version of himself. The body has long blond hair that curls at the end and the chest has more flesh to it but otherwise there isn't much change.
"Am i a pretty girl~" Lucifer teased wrapping his arms around Alastor's neck moving his body into Alastor's lap.
"Aww is the great radio demon all flustered" The answer was yes. Alastor was now bright red all because Lucifer was in his lap, hands around his neck and using that one flirty voice.

Slowly Lucifer body shifts back into his normal one though this time his demonic attributes, horns and his wiry tail, are out.
"How about this form. You probably wouldn't have seen it at the battle so enjoy the view while you have it" Lucifer shuffled backwards a bit to give Alastor a better view but stayed in the mans lap.

"You have a tail?" Lucifer blinks slowly before moving his tail round to the front and looking at it.
"Yes?" He said confused.
"I have one too you know" Lucifer's eyes widen. He knew the man had deer traits and all but did he really have a tail.

"Can i see it" Lucifer blurted out then covering his mouth when he recognized what he said. Alastor just shrugged pulling Lucifer off his lap and turning around to take of his coat. Underneath was nothing but a small click of Alastor's fingers reviled a tiny deer tail.

"Wow, so that's how i haven't noticed it before" Lucifer looked back up from the tail and shot backwards in surprise. Alastor had turned his head a full one eighty degrees and was looking at him.

"Jesus Al thats creepy" Lucifer said clutching his chest but still smiling.

"Thats why i do it Darlin'!"

Chapter Text

Everyone was in the main room sitting down on the sofa's. It was there quite time so Charlie was drawing up cute new idea's for the hotel and sharing them with her girlfriend, Angel is drinking a red or pink drink, scrolling on his phone all the while petting Husk's head. The cat man was laying on his belly with this head on Angels lap enjoying the scratches. Niffty was using a collection of dead bugs, sticks and glue as well as other random things to make a crown apparently it was a matching one for Lucifer so he could be the 'other king roach' whatever that meant.

Lucifer and Alastor were sitting comfortable together on the sofa reading the news paper and silently laughing at little things in it. It was nice not having to hide there love for each other anymore. It was also nice to see Alastor more comfortable around everyone and openly showing his affection to the group, every now and then the little decorations on his glasses would tap together but other then that the room was rather quiet.

Lucifer was just about to point out a bit in the paper's about Vox and how stupid he was when there was a loud jingle. Everyone looked at Alastor who was looking up at the hotel door like a deer in headlights. His little decorations were still swaying from the force he moved his head at.

"Hey smiles ya ok?" Angel asked putting down his phone to look at Alastor who didnt even seem to hear him.
"Alastor?" Lucifer moved onto his knees leaving over the back of the sofa to wave a hand in front of Alastor's face but the man didn't react.

Lucifer moved back onto the sofa and looked at the group as if they would somehow know whats going on when he is literally dating the man.

Suddenly, Alastor wiped of the sofa and opened the door of the hotel just in time for someone at the door to walk right in without stopping.

Lilith.

Lucifer felt so many different emotions all at once. Lilith was back just when Lucifer was staring to rebuild his relationships with Charlie and he had finally moved on to find happiness with Alastor as confusing as it may seem but no, now was the time she decided to come back.

"Oh Charlie, Luci its lovely to see you again" Lilith said walking right up to them and holding Lucifer's face in her hands giving him a quick kiss on the lips before hugging Charlie. Everyone just stood in shock at the whole even, even more shocked at the fact Alastor did nothing about Lilith. After the event with Lucifer when he first showed up everyone would have put good money on the idea that Alastor would do the same to her but its not what happened. No the man just slowly walked back and stool next to the sofa not even sitting down next to Lucifer again.

"Mother your- your back" Charlie said as Lilith pulled back from the hug. Lucifer wiped at his lips to get off the feeling of the kiss. It just didn't feel right anymore.
"Of course i am, i got your messages and i'm very intrigued on what your doing here" Charlie seemed to light up even more.
"Come on me and Vaggie can show you around" Charlie pulled her girlfriend up from the sofa and the three of them walked off leaving Lucifer, Alastor, Husk, Niffty and Angel Dust.

"Surprised at how ya kept your cool back there smiles" Angel commented crossing both pares of arms. Lucifer joined everyone else in looking at Alastor. The man seemed way to tensed for Lucifer's liking, everything about the man told Lucifer he was severely uncomfortable and Lucifer knew what Alastor looked like uncomfortable.

"Enjoy the rest of you night" Alastor said abruptly leaving them all there staring at him as he left.
"I fucked up didnt i" Lucifer pushed his hands into his face.
"Maybe letting you wife kiss you on the lips while Al was here wasn't the best idea" Angel said looking down at the king of hell.
"Ex-wife. She divorced me before she left" Lucifer grumbled.
"I- I dont think he was mad" Husk tipped the drink down his throat before looking at the group.

"What do you mean?" Lucifer pulled his hands away from his face to look at the cat sinner.
"Well-"
"AH ah ah! Husky's being a bad boy" Niffty said looking up at Husk with a manic smile.
"Whatever, forget it"

Alastor had been staying away from everyone at the hotel and Lucifer was really starting to worry. The first night was the day Lilith had kissed him, Alastor hadn't been in there shared room and really Lucifer didn't blame him. He decided to give Alastor some space and not go looking for him.

But then he didn't show up next morning.
Instead Lilith was trying to kiss him and giving him sweet romantic words. When Lucifer told her to stop because he was with Alastor now she paused before rolling her eyes and ignoring what he said in favor of a little flirty comment.

It took Lucifer a week to build up the courage to go to Alastor's radio tower. It was the only place Alastor would be.

How Lucifer wished the man was mad about the kiss. It would have been so much better then this.

"Hey Al you there?" Lucifer gave a knock onto the door. There was no response.
"If your still mad then i can leave" Still no response.
"Alastor?" Slowly Lucifer unlocked the door and walked in.

The radio tower was destroyed, wires hung from the ceiling sparking randomly and in the middle of the whole mess was a mix of chains and ropes all a glowing purple.
There entangled in the middle was Alastor.

His blood was oozing out at a sluggish pace dripping into a puddle on the floor. His chest was rising to much for Lucifer's comfort and he didn't even seem consensus as his head dangles downwards.

Lucifer rushed over to Alastor and ripped him as gently as he could from the binds and took him into his arms. The floor really was not suitable to heal the man and the panic really didn't let him think of a better place then the very in the open communal area. So he opened a portal and rushed through laying the deer on the sofa completely missing the fact everyone else was in the room.

"Dad! What happened?" Charlie said rushing over to her dad. Her face fell even more as she got a closer look at the bleeding deer.
"I- right now im not sure but lets just focus on healing Alastor" Lucifer put his hands onto Alastor's body and began to heal it. The blood stained the deer's clothing and covered Lucifer's hands but it didn't matter, the cuts and bruises were leaving his body his body.

The air was thick as he finally finished healing the man.
"So who do we think did this?" Husk asked, it was weird to see Husk so worried for the man that owned his soul but Alastor had been getting much nicer after beginning to date Lucifer.
"Why don't we sit down for a bit Luci" Lilith reached out for Lucifer but he swatted away his hand.

"Can you stop that" Lucifer yelled shocking everyone in the room "You divorced me, we are not together. If you didn't fucking kiss me then maybe i would have been around him when this shit happened. I have told you so many times i am with Alastor now but you refuse to stop with this! I don't love you anymore and i know you sure as hell don't love me so FUCKING STOP IT" Lucifer's breathing was heavy after yelling out his whole speech.

When his eyes met once again with Lilith's face he could feel the hair on the back of his neck prickle.

Her expression was cold, her face held no loving warmth that had graced it for the last week she had been here.

"Well its a shame i wasn't able to do what i wanted" A cold grin grew on her face "but i can still hurt you" A purple mist engulfed her before she reappeared further away with a still passed out Alastor in her hands. She was lifting him up by the back of his shirt and little green stitches were now glowing, the most eye catching one being the ones stitching his smiling mouth closed.

"Mother what are you doing!" Charlie yelled looking her mother in shock tears building in her eyes.
"Oh charlie, my dear little Charlie~ did you really think Alastor cared for this hotel. I commanded him here. If he pretend to care it was because he was using you to regain his soul" She shook him in her grasp as her smile darkened.

"Why don't i wake him up so he can tell you himself" She dropped him to the floor and pushed her hand into his hair gripping his head. Electricity ran through Alastor's body as he screamed. Lucifer moved closer but when Lilith threatened to kill Alastor he stopped moving.

"Come on Alastor~ look at them, tell them why you came to the hotel. Go on" She gripped his hair and ears pulling his head upwards to look at them all. His eyes were fuzzy and he looked disorientated.

"SPEAK" She yelled sending another shock of electricity into his body causing him to yelp in pain.
"I- i only- came here-" He took another deep breath, his shouldn't be stressing his body so much after everything. Lucifer felt the flames of his body grow "here because she told- told me to" His body was shaking at the effort of staying awake but Lilith would only hurt him if he tried to rest.

"Smiles we don't gave two shits if you came here because she told you to, i can pretty confidently say you care for us all now" Angel stood next to Lucifer and Charlie.
"I may not have trusted you at first but i can tell you've changed Alastor" Vaggie moved to hold her girlfriends hand. Husk also moved forward and have a small nod, Niffty had also joined them at some point and was glaring at Lilith with all the unchecked manic rage she could hold in her tiny body.

"Ugh you all disgust me. You trust to quickly, its pathetic" She growled looking disgusted at them all. She pushed Alastor onto the group and finally Lucifer saw a moment she was just far enough away for him to do something.

He took that moment and speed at it.

When his hands gripped onto Lilith's body he slammed her into the wall so she was much further away from Alastor. This let the others run to Alastor's side to make sure he was safe and was not about to pass out. Getting electrocuted and then passing out probably wasn't the best thing for a body no matter how dead and in hell it was.

"YOUR PATHETIC" Lilith screeched her body distorting.
"IM PATHETIC! IM NOT THE BITCH WHO THOUGHT THEY COULD LEAVE THERE FAMILY AND COME BACK LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED" Lucifer knew his demonic form was at full "I'll give you one chance to give me Alastor's soul and leave" His voice was dangerously calm and was more then just vaguely threatening.

Behind him Angel Dust held Niffty in his arms. (If you've seen the croods you know what i mean)

"You wont hurt me-" Niffty scrammbled out of Angels grasp and rushed up to Lilith a angelic weapon in hand. Lilith being distracted by Lucifer probobly helped in some way but if Lucifer was a betting man he sure would have bet a lot on the fact Niffty would have killed Lilith even without him as a distraction.

The little woman stabbed Lilith over and over again just like she did Adam laughing all the while.
"I did warn you"
