Summary
After saving Baldur’s Gate Astarion and Red begin searching for a cure for him, together, as equals. As their relationship grows without the constant threat of death looming over them, Red begins to see a new, sweeter, side of Astarion, but as the days pass, and he begins to heal, she starts to notice a few strange things happening. With each well fed, well loved day that passes, he begins to look more and more… well, alive.
A series of one-shots based on a tumblr post (linked in notes) that lives rent free in my mind. Basically, as Astarion becomes healthier, he begins to look, act and feel more elf-like.
Chapter Preview:She found him looking back, smiling back at her with the same starry eyes look he had that first night and by the Gods it did to her now exactly what it had then. Running her hands over his chest she placed them on the sides of his face and began covering every inch of his skin in kisses. It would never be enough, she knew, to truly kiss away all of the evil that this beautiful man had suffered through, to kiss him better, but she would try. He deserved that ten fold.
