Well, that’s fun.
Ace rubbed his head. Hung over. His favorite.
As expected, a girl next to him. Only the hair had small grey strands. “Holy shit.”
It wasn’t a girl. Ace immediately panicked. What the fuck happened?
He just hoped that he felt hot and took his clothes off while Peter was sleeping. Sometimes he wished forgetting stuff wasn’t a part of waking up hungover. Sometimes he preferred it that way but in this case, he cursed himself.
He rubbed his eyes in embarrassment as if it was going to play a scene from last night. To his disappointment it did nothing. He only hoped that once Peter woke up he’d say nothing about it.
“Ace?” Ace froze. Why didn’t he leave before Peter woke up?
Ace knew Peter was good with a bat. Peter was short but had the mouth of a sailor and was quite strong. Even when he didn’t mean to, he could pack a punch.
“Hey, cat.” Ace tried to sound at least somewhat casual. He expected a “What happened last night?” Or a “What the hell are you doing in my room?”
But Peter got up and grabbed his clothes as if nothing happened. Ace was almost taken aback. Was he seriously going to just ignore this scene?
“D’ya know what happened last night?” Ace’s voice wavered slightly. He expected at least a “shut up.”
Something Ace didn’t expect was a small snort from Peter. “God you were drunk as hell. Ace couldn’t help but scoff.
Of course, he knew he was drunk. “Obviously I know that genius.” Ace deadpanned, getting up and getting his clothes on as well.
The only thing he found funny was that he couldn’t find his shirt. Only a sweater with the Kiss logo on it. “You thought I was a girl.”
Ace couldn’t help but curse at himself. He expected something different. Having sex with Peter wasn’t anything he was expecting.
Once Ace layed back down, Peter was already there and grabbed something off his nightstand. “You were convinced and desperate.” Ace instantly shot up.
Oh god. Was it a condom? A hickey?
To his shock, it was only a ring. Cheap and probably from the dollar store. Or Ace thought.
“D’you still think I’m pretty?” Peter joked. Ace said all that last night?
One good look at Peter was all it took. He was his best friend and he didn’t care what happened. It didn’t change anything.
“You are pretty.” Ace looked away, awkwardly scratching his arm. “Just as when I married you or something.”
Peter laughed.
“Thanks man.”
