Chapter Text

DAY ONE - am stuck in a void.

The early morning sun had shun brightly in the heated place of ninjago where 6 six people are practice training, swords clashed as Llyod ducked Cole's attack, you're getting better greenie!
Cole smirked giving a playful look at Lloyds tired face, lloyd huffed unamused at Coles comment but before he could give back a retort Nya's voice rang through the training hall as the others gathered, Boys! It seems we have a message from the force... Nya muttered the last words out as if she was chocking
The force? Jay looked at the others for an explanation, "It is one of our... enemies Jay If you don't remember the serious fights between us"
Zane said, ohhhh those guys yeah they have been a big prick! lately Jay chuckled I remember this one time when i- kai slapped his hand over Jay's mouth before he could ramble any further, not the time buddy kai said giving him a annoyed look

Alright listen up! the forces just sent us a message that they need our help, Why?? They don't seem to lift a finger to help us! Cole scuffed shaking his head in frustration,
well it seems that now they do! Nya continued, And if there asking for "OUR" help then it must be something big,
but the decision is yours llyod, said Zane all attention turning to him, llyod thought tor a moment since he is the team leader the final decision went to him, he grumbled in thought, but we are ninja! Our job is to help even if it is the forces are our enemies... he thought for another moment before saying "It is our duty to protect so if they need our help we should help them" all the ninja nodded "Alright I guess we should set off for Tomorrow to meet this so called forces..." Nya said

"As the ninja enter the building all eyes were on them which was no surprise really since they aren't the most welcoming"

Lloyd wasn't paying attention to all the hostile gazes that followed him as they walked instead he admired the beautiful way they styled the building it marveled with gold at every turn and hung pictures probably worth a thousand dollars on the wall and to his surprise the faces of the ninja were also hung up which showed some relief in him at least they kinda respect them he thought
Wow this place rocks! Jay whispered in his ear lloyd nodded and the they finally reached the top of the building where a person looking sternly at him the woman wore a black suit and a black skirt they had black hair and one white strip of white hair and she was wearing black shoes lloyd guessed that she was the boss and the other one who stood by her side and look at the ninja suspiciously lloyd knew that he was in for a rough time

As they walked in their boss greeted them, Welcome Ninja she said her voice trying to be friendly, I'm Mis.Vernon she said, lloyd shook her hand
She motioned for them to sit down "As you know we asked you for help she looked at all of us one by one before continuing " it would better to just show it" As she talked llyod couldn't help but steal glances at the other women eyeing the ninja suspiciously he couldn't help but feel unsafe, he calmed himself down before listening to Mis.Vernon speak again A video was set up as the ninja watch in Complete Horror,as one person was taken up in the air by a pink and purple power and then they were cracked and crushed the bones in their body were destroyed the sound crackling through the audio lloyd saw visible pain in their faces as they finally inhaled their last breath before they fell down..Dead then the video ended

"The people that did this are still unanimous but after our group of spies were caught by them we feel a growing tension rising " she said "thats why we need you're help she finished Finally Zane spoke up "This is something us ninja have never faced before... " Kai stayed completely still and silent which was rare for the fire ninja who was always shifting about but then he spoke"This is... devastating he muttered his eyes looked fearful

"Then the women spoke we thought this was one of you're Elemental masters she hissed eyeing the ninja dangerously
EXCUSE MY assistant Ms.Vernon said eyeing Y/N to be quiet "But we did wonder if it is an element master " she questioned looking at us
we don't know Nya said but Marsh does, "who is this marsh?" Ms.Vernon eyed the ninja suspiciously "That would be me" a voice came out from the door all eyes turned to marsh "This is my twin brother lloyd explained master of energy like me and just 5 minutes older than me he can sense elemental energy"
Marsh nodded

Can you play the video again? Marsh closed his eyes as the video replayed after it was done he opened his eyes again All eyes turned to him "Not an elemental master he said" just a weird power that I do not know about " lloyd hear Amber mutter "I sure hope there not lying " "Jay finally spoke we need to talk about this with master Wu he said as they walked out of the building "Man this mission just got a whole lot harder kai said looking at the rest of the team Lloyd wandered "if they even can fight this kind of power... they would just have to wait to find
out.."

When the ninja had left the building, Y/N wanted to try and convince Vernon again to say no that they don't need the ninja's help anymore! But it was hopeless she knew, they needed the ninja's help whether she liked to admit or not.
Clenching my fist I turned And headed to my office, I couldn't let the ninja do the work as if I'm gonna let them! Gritting my teeth I stared to take all of the notes we have for this unknown trouble makers! as I scanned the folder again I found a picture of my sister she was smiling saluting with her suit the top bar said:Missing...Missing! I clenched my fist against the paper why would you go and engage in battle!? Looking at the paper again I whispered "am sure hope your safe.." the next while I spent half the day looking at our notes,the notes held no trace of where they couldn't be! How could they be so perfectly hidden? Annoyed I walked out of my room to see Dion walked along the hallway Uhh Dion wait!!
Dion turned his head at me giving a confused face yes Y/N? Do you know where the special folders of the subject titling "Destruction" is? Ahh yess I believe that they are stacked at the head staffed shelf, he then gave me a curious look "But none is allowed there" I know! I quickly said turning away from his gaze I walked away before he could question me any further it, it was one thing to have Vernon keeping an eye at me but a whole flock? I thought Not in a million lifetimes!
As I tried to open the door to the head office room it stood standing, Facepalming "of course it's locked!" I muttered After being increasingly good at pickpocketing (from the number of times I snuck into rooms) the door finally unlocked, alright office all your secret within are now mine!

I must have spent hours looking at the folders for when I looked at the time it was night that was okay though because now I've learned what I need to know, 1 the unknown power of the source is ancient 2 it's been a dark magic untold to this world 3. I'm totally going to kick their butts! Once I get my sister back!
Leaving and make sure nothing looked different from what it was before Closing it the door slows I tipped toed back to my room satisfaction on my face as I layed down on my bed
I've gotten answers and now to wait for what the ninja have to say As the thoughts lingered in my mind for one last moment I softly sighed falling asleep.

Y/N groaned Vernon had commanded her to get ready for the ninja who were bringing important information them THAT'S why I was up to early get everyone ready, groaning again I opened the door The mirror reflected my morning face if I hadn't known better I would have thought I was a mad person, if it was for any reason Y/N would have never let the ninja help them, not only where they annoying! they also thought just Because THEY had some special power they thought they were more important than anyone else!, if there was another way to help her sister without the ninja's help Y/N would have been grateful
But at last Y/N sighed we need the ninjas help
it was smart Y/N knew but at the cost of her sister? Y/N would do anything to get her back Even if it meant needing the ninja's help
The green ninja the one they called "Lloyd" seemed the most annoying out of all of them, it gave Y/N the ceeps when she saw his green eyes the way it shined with the look of power gave Y/N all the wrong ideas
He was the son of destruction itself! how could he be the green ninja? Groaning again Y/N brushed her teeth and then getting dressed, Walking to the meeting place where they would discuss what they knew so they could come up with a plan Y/N spotted Llyod who was talking to Vernon, Vernon glanced at Y/N before nodding at the seat next to her, Y/N sat down waiting for what the ninja had to say. Alright since everyone is here now we can discuss what we know Vernon said looking at the ninja with curiosity, Y/N didn't say any just looked at the ninja impatiently who were all fidgeting with themselves giving glances at llyod, Lloyd looked back at his team before speaking "After we left at our first discussion we asked Master wu about this strange power but he knew nothing of it" Then marsh spoke up which was suprising since I didn't know he was there " But then I thought of Borg since he was good with technology I thought he knew something of it" Marsh then explained how when they asked Borg, Borg had explained to them that it was a piece of special power connected to a device that could harness it. He then explained that Borg had thought it was a myth since he had never seen it for himself and gave up trying along time ago he then explained that Borg gave them a warning that if touched by it you could be corrupted by the power
There was a long silence after the last sentence before I spoke up "So Borg knows about this power?" It was Cole that spoke up this time Not exactly but he is researching more about it.
Vernon nodded taking it all in "So am guessing none of you know how to stop it?" Vernon gave a questioning look at the ninja the ninja just looked at the ground giving no reply "THIS IS USELESS!!" I spoke up all attention turning to me
we should be searching looking for answers not sitting here and discussing about what we already know! The anger I held from the start all came pouring out the grief was all too much after losing my sister Kai retorted and said that's not safe it would be stupid to go out there and expect that the strange things or whatever would give up just like that! He glared
Kai is right it would cause great damage if we didn't know what to expect Zane put in Marsh green eyes looked directly at me "We will find you're sister and the rest of you're teammates we promise" How can you be so sure of that? Vernon raised an eyebrow Because Ninja never quit!" Jay yelled all the others nodded saying Ninja Never quit!
Ninja never quit the words ringed through my ears the ninja aren't the only one looking for you sister...

The day couldn't have been worse...
Y/N had woken up to an attack on ninjago city a small one but just harmful enough to leave some people wounded Y/N had known right away that it was that strange power that was the cause of this it had to be! The look of it reminded her of the recording that showed of the unanimous people killing a helpless person the thought of it still sent shivers through her spine
Jumping off a building I used a Katana to slash off the purple electricity, Thank you Forces a man said looking grateful and scared to death that he was still alive I nodded looking at him Go Somewhere Safe! And with those words he left. sighing as i looked at the destruction of the city the whole thing was covered with a purple and pink mist, typical I thought villains seem to like that color, Smashing out of my thoughts I ran to help a person who was being dragged off by another purple electricity but before I could help them, The ninja showed up and helped the person, i grunted visibly annoyed that the ninja showed up again and took my catch! "Well if it isn't the ninja to what do I owe you the pleasure of dropping unannounced?" I said sarcastically "sorry was that yours I didn't see you there tiny" kai said saying the last word slowly giving me a smirk look before I could lash out a retort
Lloyd interrupted come on we shouldn't be fighting not when we have the same enemy! We should be working together not fighting one another!" Lloyd is right it would be logical to team up Zane said in his usual robotic voice giving a small huff I signaled to the rest of my force team to follow me
as we continued to fight off the electricity I looked at Jay "Hey aren't you elemental master of lightning or whatever can't you just make the lightning stop trying to kill us!!!???" Jay shook his head a frustrated sound in his voice "No it's not listening to me! It's not like the lightning I control!" Well great we have a lightning master and now it seems his not mastering enough!" Cole said giving a risked glance at Jay who just stared at him with the eyes of "I'm going to kill you " I rolled my eyes at their bickering before I spotted a woman no less than 25 was being grabbed by the lightning stuff and was being pulled into a building I looked around frantically I wouldn't make in time to help, Cole seemed to have caught my glance and quickly sped after the woman watching in horror as the building started to collapse
Nya must have seen it to because she quickly ran to where Cole had disappeared under the building me following right behind her as the forces and the ninja searched through the rocks for any signs of Cole and the woman I looked around it was strange to see me helping the ninja after I so heavily despise everything about them but here we are working together... it felt good like something was being lifted off my shoulders
Marsh grunted beside me snapping me of my thoughts I found him! He announced the others quickly came and helped pulled them both up
Are you okay? I questioned looking at them with a concerned face as they coughed for breath "Yeah I think so thank you for saving me" she gave a grateful smile at us
Aside from my back am good too Cole put in The woman glanced at Cole with a worried look OH My God! Am so sorry she squeaked I should have paid more attention! Am so sorry! are you hurt? Cole shrugged clearly unbothered by the stings of his scars Y/N looked at Cole again his scars were a lot some still dripping blood while the women's was only a few scratches here and there
Cole gave a chuckle at the womans worried face "Yeah..uhhh am fine!.. he gave a nervous chuckle at the lady
Weird I had heard from places that Cole wasn't a one to be scared or stutter at every sentence Marsh seemed to have noticed it too because he gave a suspicious glance at Cole which was unnoticed by the rest of the team
Ohhh am so sorry! I forgot to introduce myself! Hi am Nova! She smiled nervously at us Alright Nova we should take you home Dion said which surprised me since I didn't know he was there "Yes thank you " Nova gave a nod before heading off with Dion
I took a glance behind me to see Cole staring after her Llyod turned back Cole you coming?
What- yeah! Coming Cole muttered stealing his glance away Marsh gave him a bump on the shoulder giving him a amused look clearly knowing what was going on Cole just rolled his eyes looking away
It was nice of you to help us Nya said breaking the silence that hung in the air Shrugging I said "don't get used to it, it's just so we can finish this mess and go back to doing our daily life"
As we headed back I couldn't help but feel a tension in the air something was coming....

Chapter Text

Lloyd had suggested that they go and talk to Borg if he had more information to give them about the matter.

Lloyd was sure that he shouldn't be looking at Y/N the way he was but he just couldn't help it
His eyes always sparked a curious glance at her
He suddenly wanted to know everything about her

What did she like to eat?, what was her favorite movie, Does she feel comfortable with the ninja too? His thoughts just kept swarming in like a bee hive

He know knew how Jay felt whenever he talked so much
He knew that if the ninja found out he wouldn't hear the end of it!

So he kept it too himself

The walk to the Borg industries was pretty smoothed, Master wu and his mother had wanted to tag along too
Their reason in being was that "They might understand it better than the young ones do" Which only left a irritated grunt from Kai
The forces also wanted to tag along saying that since they were a team they should know what was going on
Which lloyd didn't minded because he wanted to spend more time with Y/N

As they reached the 100th floor of the building, Borg came to greet them with a smile
"Ahh I've been waiting for you Ninja, Forces" Borg gave a polite nod at them "ever since the ninja showed up with the disturbing news I've been digging alot of information lately" He gestured for them to sit down

Which lloyd gladly did

"So I took a closer look at the video you sent me, and I found something most disturbing..." he showed them a design of something that made everyone gasping

Looking at the design was electric hatch coming from a mountain, The dark clouds followed the path that the lightning went and the sky was coloured dark blue

"Yes I was surprised as you are when I found this out" Borg contuined "But then after researching a lot about it I was able to build a protective armour so you won't get corrupted when you touch it"

Y/N nodded at what borg had said "So where is it then?"
Before Y/N finished the last sentence, Borg pushed a button
a door opened revealing cool mech suits

"O my God!!!! Jay screamed his excitment was clear in his voice he then rushed to one that was colored in dark blue

This one's mine!!! He said hugging it tightly

"Well of course it's yours, lightning mouth" Kai rolled his eyes

How did you have enough time to make all this? Marsh questioned his face looked at it in bewilderment

"Just been tinkering with it in my little time" Borg said

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's try them out!" Said Nya

I could get used to this! Cole murmured

Y/N then looked at Borg "So are we going on a quest?"
Yes in fact! Borg exclaimed "I have found a source of the strange power somewhere faraway... it's called Ickra it's said to be a scared place banned from humanity...."

Dion looked confused at this "Why?"
Borg shook his head "It is said a powerful sourcess once used its magic for bad turning the magic...black"

But I don't know what happened next.. it was like it was never written Borg finished
Y/N nodded her head in understanding "maybe the battle was held off?"

It is possible.. Misako said looking at wu
But there must be something to stop this Dion raised his voice

Of course Zane said though his voice was filled with uncertainty which was rare for the ice ninja
"Come to think of it ....marsh murmured then shook his head waving it off nevermind...

His mother (Misako) gave a worried look at Marsh
Marsh didn't meet her gaze

Lloyd has always known that marsh has never completely forgiven their mother for abandoning them, he knew it was pretty hard tor Marsh since he was raised by a dragon and a crazy scientist

Empathy had clouded his thoughts before Cole nudged him

I'll give you the location now" Borg said "Good luck ninja and forces may the first spinjiztu master be with you!"
He said as they left

As they headed back to the monastery Marsh had nudged him
"Is something wrong?" He questioned glancing at marsh's grin coming along his face
Did you see how Cole stared at Nova earlier?" Lloyd stopped for a moment rethinking to the battle that had taken place earlier

Marsh stared at his brother "Come on you saw it, Cole has a crush on Nova!" Marsh grinned
Lloyd looked at his brother star struck Cole has a crush? Now this changes things...
He couldn't imagine Cole having a crush of all people he was the mother of the team, the foundation without him Llyod wouldn't have known possibly how to keep the team from falling from a building every second

Yeah I guess he does Lloyd looked sheepishly at marsh he was always flustered when they talked about things like this

Anyway... marsh said, did Y/N say something to you?
You kept staring at her like she was a pizza a talking pizza

Do I need to kill her? Marsh said giving a worried look at llyod

WHAT-- HUH- no none needs to die!, I was just seeing that she was really getting comfortable with us that's all really! Llyod shrugged he couldn't tell his brother the truth because he knew that he would tell it to Cole who would then tell it to kai who would then tell it to Nya who would then tell it to Jay who Jay would blabber about it to Zane who then Zane would tell it to his mother and uncle
The thought of the family chain made Llyod feel worst he knew that lying to his own brother was bad but then again Marsh would probably find it out using his six senses

Which lloyd thought that marsh totally had even though marsh had rejected it everytime

Marsh still gave him a doubtful look but didn't pursue any further
Lloyd sighed that was one thing he was grateful about marsh for he didn't force him to say anything he didn't want to
While the other Ninja was a different story...

He just looked at the sky I hope you're watching over us first spinjiztu master... we need you more than anything...

Chapter Text

As they entered the monastery entrance (Y/n made sure to stay a few feet away from the ninja just in case)

She couldn't help but stare at it in bewilderment, Massive walls that stretched as long as her eyes could take her and the huge carvings on the wall made it seem unbelievable, Sure she had heard tales from people about it but actually seeing it, it seemed like a dream!

She quickly closed her mouth she didn't want to act like she was amazed with she was thoughtly was not!

"It's a wonder how you you keep everything clean when you ninja are so sloppy on you're work!" She said smugly

Kai just scoffed "I wonder how you do any better, everything is basically a huge room! At least the mirror want's to see our monastery in it self" "But for the mirror sake we better keep you're building a long way from it!"

Nya rolled her eyes at their bickering and opened the door

"Welcome to the monastery!" Jay gestured waving his hands up high
Master wu walked along with them shaking his head

"We can not come and tag along on you're little quest with you "
"What! Why??! If it is anything we did we can fix it!" Lloyd looked frantically at them if they didn't come he would have to lead and he did not feel confident in his leading skills without them even with his brother Marsh

"It is nothing you did dear both of you" she placed a hand on lloyd shoulder "We are just too Old to go on adventures as we used to and it it sounds like you don't need us plus we can protect the monastery while you're away in case if any trouble arrives "

"It is logical for them to say here Lloyd even if I hate to admit it" Zane said giving a bit of a frown

"Well what are we waiting for we better get going!" Cole chimed in
Lloyd still gave a disgruntled huff but didn't argue

Y/N was still listening to the chatting when Dion walked up to her "Hey uhhh should we just wait here or..."

What was he suggesting? Y/N wonderd giving a questionably look at Dion who only shook his head

"Yes of course we stay here"Y/N looked at Dion's disappointed face searching his gave for what was troubling him
"Is something wrong Dion?"

Yes!...Everything is fine I will... just go sit down over there with the other group!"

With a shrug of her shoulders Y/N watched Dion quickly run go the other force members
With a suspicious look at Dion she walked into the monastery

what are you doing there marsh she wondered as she looked over her shoulder to see marsh walking past the others into a different room

Before Marsh could secretly get on top of his privacy cave he heard foot steps he turned his head to see Y/N
Great just the person I need to see today he muttered

"What are you doing Marsh going to betray the team?" She looked suspiciously at Marsh I knew there was something up about you when I heard that lloyd had a 5 minute old twin brother who knew you would be a traitor she thought

Marsh just started at her for a second before caving in "I just need some time alone Okay!?" Can't I get my thoughts together for a bit?

Y/N looked startled at Marsh's high voice watching him was like watching a volcano erupt

You were probably expecting the next chapter but sadly that chapter 7 will be the last chapter of courage aids the brave

I am sorry for anyone who wanted to continue with this story
But I just don't have the enthusiasm as I did when I started it

I take some days off from it and I can't even look at it anymore everything is wrong in it and my writing was awful.

But to take all that bad news away I do have some good news I will be releasing a new lloydxreader story and it will be called Green music! So look forward to that

Again I am sorry for not mustering up courage to complete this book even if it is called "Courage aids the brave,," there is no excitment to me anymore in this book and I hope you understand that
