Summary
Hermione never thought she would die of a broken heart. She thought for sure it would be at the end of a curse from a Death Eater. Or possibly a deadly crick in her neck from reading too much.
Then Ron chose to walk away, taking half of her heart with him. Being stubborn, she ran after him to claim what was hers but he was too fast. Once the crack of his Disapparition sounded through the dark forest, she fell to her knees and sobbed.
For days after, she cried and cried.
